i have a friend who, when he sees a homeless person walking up for money, asks them for money. he just keeps bothering them and begging. quite funny. also, my brother sometimes just acts crazy and makes noises at them...also seems effective. try acting like them to freak them out. just go down there and try to sleep on his couch. smell bad, etc.

Some good news just got back from taking my son on a walk and he is gone, cops must have come by and he took of on the third try. But he lift a sheet on the fence I hope that isn?t a sign he will be back tonight . Also the he took his couch, its nowhere to be seen so I guess he must have it on top of his shopping cart.

A friend of mine did that once and the homeless guy gave her $0.25 and said she looked like she needed it more than he did. It was pure ownage, she was so confused and didn't know if she should take it or not.

If he somehow returns, be careful not to do anything that might be regarded as assault. Just go the legal route (cops, find out where the local shelter is, etc.)

Don't make his life any more hard. Sure, he might be in his situation because he was into hardcore drugs, but it might also be job loss, injury, divorce, etc.

buy some of that electric wiring you use to put around fences (for pets that like to escape--one was/is called "Fido Shock"). inconspicuously run some line around the corners of his little area, near that dumpster, or wherever. Run the line with the little generator up the building and into your apartment (wherever it is), and plug it in.

It should only take a few pisses for him to vacate

Looks like he moved into the rear of the apartments next to mine.

The immediate area has turned into a cornucopia of bum goodies. There is a grocery store across the street that installed a recycling center and since they did that there has been a migration of homeless flocking to the area. Before they would hang out more by the freeway/off ramp bushes.

So they have within a quarter mile:

Ralphs Grocery store & recycling center= money, panhandling, and shopping carts.
Large cluster of apartments in rich area with large ally behind them= lots of bottles, cans, plastic, and furniture.
Lots of restaurants=Dumpster Food
