Looks like Bioshock only on dry land. He even has plasmid like abilities.

Interested to see what gameplay looks like.

Could be interesting.

I'm not a fan of Steampunk, mixing technologies within a setting that apparently doesn't fit with those technologies (or vice versa) doesn't always look good... or "fits", indeed. For some reason the trailer reminded me of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (also to some extent, Sucker Punch, or Atlantis: The Lost Empire). The Steampunk concept can work, I do like it sometimes but on the other hand I always have that thought at the back of my mind about stuff "not fitting" and it gets annoying. I can be entertained just because it "looks cool" (like those soldiers on the spider-like mechanized legs things), or because it looks like it's still the 1940's but there's some crazy techs that seemingly come from the 22nd or 23rd century, Steampunk feels "weird" to me. The comparison to Bioshock isn't bad either, I agree they have some similitude (I liked Bioshock though).

Anyway, time will tell but I have mixed feelings about Steampunk in general, not just in video games mind you, also in movies. There's something to consider though, ultimately, it will be a console port, so I'm not expecting much for the "PC version".

Game looks really good and I'm definitely looking into this one. Although I really wish they would move away from the cartoon graphics that's becoming so popular these days.

Watched both trailers, and the game looks pretty freaking awesome. I love that Blink power, Possession, and all the different ways available to accomplish goals. The atmosphere and gameplay made me think of Vampire: The Masquerade on steroids.

Possession reminds me of Messiah [baby cherub who could possess people]. Pretty cool there are 8 or 9 possible ways into a building. Looks like a winner so far..

Yeah, those made me go OMG. 8 to 9 ways? That would be seriously epic considering the replay value you get. Also, possession seems good. Getting into the body of a fish to traverse underwater is just such a super concept.
Looking forward to this.

Theif type gameplay, with various magic like the "stop time" thingy some first person shooters also have?

Not my kinda thing, but it looks decent from those gameplay videos showing various build/gameplay styles.

Gameplay looks great, but boy, the penalty is paid by running on the consoles, those graphics are pretty horrendous and damage the immersion somewhat (lack of shadows cast by NPCs etc). Hopefully the PC version will be more up to scratch.

Is there going to be a PC Version?

The game looks fun but man, I really wish they do something about the graphics. Looks bland as shit. We don't have enough games set in a steampunk world, and the graphic engine for this game is not doing it justice. CD Projekt anyone?

I don't like steampunk but I loved Bioshock. Hopefully this is a good game but the violence video made it look way too easy. Too many powers and weapons. The stealth video made it look lame, you're out in the open and still nobody can see you, like in Human Revolution. Wish they had the stealth capabilities of Splinter Cell.

I also thought the AI was dumb as rocks.. huge fight with swords in a room, kill two people and the guy on the balcony doesn't hear anything. Still hoping its a good game.

looks great! this joins my "waiting for" list along with Borderlands 2.
just needs more RPG elements like a skill tree and character stats to allow customizing and choosing a gameplay style and it would be almost-perfect.

looks like more of an evolution of FO3.
