WTF? Hilary is not far left...

Correct. 'Far left' would imply that she's still on the chart. Kerry is far left (unless he's talking to a moderate group, but I digress).

Hillary is on the fscking moon.

No, far left would be nader or even some communist. Howard dean even is much further left than clinton.

Only if you believe her posturing since she set her sights on the Presidency.

I'm basing this on every interview I've ever seen since even before she was elected senator. Yeah, she's far left on a few issues, but she's centrist on a lot of them too.

How is liberalism connected to communism? No offense, but that's kind of a large leap. For the majority anyway..admittedly, some "liberals" are pretty wacko.

But on topic, no, I would never vote for Hillary (even if I could vote :p ). I wouldn't mind a female president, but not if it was her.

You'll get better explanations from others, but communism can loosely be thought of as liberalism taken to an extreme, similar to the relationship between conservatism and fascism.

Did I make up any words in that description?

Again, there's a lot more to it, but that's the jist.

Yeah, makes sense. Of course, I don't agree with the connection some people make between conservatism and fascism either. But I suppose you have the extreme of either side that's sort of the exception. *Sigh*

Actually, that's not true.

Liberalism and Conservatism is one axis of the political spectrum. Individualism and Statism is another.

Anarchy = Individualism + Liberalism
Socialism = Statism + Liberalism
Fascism = Statisms + Conservatism

If there was a good option for a woman president I wouldnt be against her but I HATE hillary.

The idea of Bush for 50 more years is much worse than hilary for 4 or 8. Btw, what could possibly be so bad about her that you would prefer an incompetant liar over her?

If Hilary was the democratic candidate then "yes" I would vote for her. The only catch is I don't want her to be the democratic candidate (she wouldn't get elected).

Yes, I would vote for Ms Clinton. I doubt she will run for the office. The Republicans have so effectively demonized her, her running would give them the White House again.

As extreme as she is to the left, she would not really have much power with a predominately republican congress. If she was voted, it would actually do good because it would make america more moderate. Her extreme laws would not get passed. But if someone like GWB continued in office, america would move to the extreme right. And everyone knows that extremists are bad.

Read the above - If Hilly were to run against, let's say a halfwit who pushes church into state. We'll call him VV for short. So Hilly vs VV and 2/3 of you are gonna vote for VV? Knowing that our Congress is filled full of Rs and you're still gonna vote for VV? Even knowing that the last prez NEVER vetoed a bill, you're still gonna vote for VV?

I wish Canada was warmer.

She's only in office because someone in her family was a president. That is how W got elected.

I'll probably be voting third party this time around. Call it a wasted vote if you wish, but I vote for who I like as a matter of principle--not the lesser of two evils.

Not true. She actually did a lot of work to get her way on to the top. Sure, being married to bill clinton helped her a lot, but it certainly isn't the sole reason. She wasn't your average GWB pot smoking party dude in college. She was actually always really involved with politic, debates, and what not.

How about NOT....

I wonder how many people would have changed the VOTE to YES if the question was Would you vote for Clinton if McCain was running?

We really need to get rid of our two Party System It SUCKS! We need an 8 Party...

Hell a 50 Party!!! Maybe then there would be someone worth voting for huh?

So in other words you aren't going to vote again? Cause who really shows that they have the credentials to be the president? Bush sure as hell didn't.

If the choices were Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush... I MIGHT vote for Hillary. Otherwise, no.

Of course, our choices will again between between two losers and voters will be expected to either a) vote party line (the brainless option) or b) vote for 'the lesser of two evils' (the forced, this sucks, option)

Are you from Florida? Do you even know what you are talking about?

I live in Tampa and for the most part JEB has been very resposible and has done a decent JOB. JEB is very differant than his brother and father that I do not alway agree with. But his name has been tainted in the minds of some people because of what other family members have done.

Ted and the rest of the family are American Trash, but John Kennedy was a great Preisident. The same can be said about Jeb vs the rest of the Bush family.

That may be, but I bet I'm far from the only person that would not vote for Jeb simply because he's in the Bush family. Both Bush's have been horrible Presidents.

I agree that they have been silghtly less than mediocre, but John Ellis Bush (Jeb) has had fairly sound policies, has actualy improved education, and kept special interests away while maintaining the best interest of the public. As far as I am concerned he is not a run of the mill Bush/politician.

Metaphoricly speaking, if your brother robbs a bank; does that make you an automatic criminal? No it does not.

If your bother commits treason, should it prevent you from getting a job at the CIA? No it should not.

The same is true for a politician, we should judge them on an individual basis and not based on mistakes made by their family members.

Jeb is just so good? Not Screws taxpayers out of $4 million in S&L scandal.

Jeb may be the least sorry of a sorry family but he is no way a shining light. No way I would ever vote for the crooked sob.

I wouldn't say I want her to be President, but I would vote for her over any current Republican. There was a time I had great respect for McCain, but those days have passed. I am not a Hilary fan, but I think she would be a quantum leap better than GWB, so I'd have no real discomfort voting for her.

Kind of a gut feeling thing, huh???
