In our defense, we deal with a ton of spammers and returning banned members.
This one came off as wither/both.

We should never aim to chase off legitimate members, regardless of gender, but when the OP starts off like a spammer and/or RBM, they're gonna be questioned in depth. That only seems appropriate.

That's done for a purpose. I am posting as a mod (thus the bold). So now if I needed to moderate this thread again, I could and no one could accuse me of participating in the thread and then moderating it.

I am 99% sure she's female. I have my ways of knowing.

Now to be fair people. What I closed down in P&N was for a different issue. I explained to her about self-promotion. I told her that with the requisite number of posts she would be able to link to her website with a simple link in her sig.

The matter at hand here is different. I understand the OT humor, and I don't have a problem with it except.......

Don't assume that everyone that announces they're new means they are open season to be pummeled. The mild razzing is OK but even then not all may appreciate it. I am just telling you because you guys chase some people away because of it. Some of it was over the line for a n00b IMO. Now if that's your goal to chase people off, then my words are worthless.

For the record, she did not appreciate the welcome she was given. She will not be back.

I agree with all of that, but I also think that if she had spent a couple hours reading she would have done a lot better. Right out of the chute she came across as being shady. We may have been wrong about her, but she sure as hell had motives beyond making some new friends.

The big thing among the youth today is superciliousness and gang bang mental rape as we see so clearly on TV. The coolest person is the one who is emotionally impregnable and stabs others in the heart. This is all they have to offer from their vacuous hearts. The self hater is looking for victims he can torture because is in deep pain himself. They collect in gangs for self assurance and to keep their consciences dead.

Actually, if you look at the most commonly enjoyed activities by both sexes, you'll find that society frowns upon all of the men's activities and none of the women's.

Men like to:

Have sex with teenage girls (mostly illegal)
Own fully automatic firearms (mostly illegal)
Street race in their high powered cars (illegal, and soon we'll be required to all drive Priuses)

Women like to:

Go shopping (legal, encouraged)
Apply makeup (legal, encouraged)
Make delicious sandwiches (legal, encouraged)

As you can see, men are prevented from doing things they enjoy by society, while women are free to do as they please.

I say we ban make up. For the safety of our children, of course.
