That's not the same comparison. The branch/pane of glass blocked the cells from regenning...

Am I the only one that LOLed when Noah sat up and said "Holy--" the same way Claire did in Season 1?
I was actually thinking about this during the episode but not quite in the same way. I found myself siding with Noah against Claire in every argument. Are some people actually empathizing with Claire? Or does everyone else think that she's a stupid teen girl?Originally posted by: nakedfrog
I was actually having a little discussion with my daughter throughout the episode (during breaks, natch) about Noah. All the way up until the end when he got shot, she said she didn't like him and that he was a bad guy, so I was explaining his motivation when he was with the company versus now. I guess bits of the story are complex for an 11 year old![]()

Noah has done some evil things. Regardless of his excuses.

Yes, he has, but he was under the impression he was doing the right thing... having seen the error of his ways, he's trying to make things right. Doesn't that mean he's not fundamentally evil?

In the grand scheme of things, yes he is evil. In relation to Claire, no he is not evil.
When Peter was shot, his body spit out the bullets. Claire and Peter were effectitvely dead because their bodies didn't 'spit' out the branch/pane. Missing half a brain is similar enough for me to more or less equal this disruption and its effects. Large foreign object in brain causes major disruption; no regeneration : major disruption with only half a brain; no regeneration. That is that "halfs" won't regenerate.Originally posted by: alkemyst

1. Adam is out of jail as he and Peter are out cruising for old Heroes to whack. There has to be something else going on with Bob wanting Claire. He keeps saying it's for her blood to heal people, but he has Adam locked up and can use his blood for that.
It's assumed Nathan is Claire's dad via the Trailer Park Torch. Claire's mom could've slept with Adam, making him Claire's dad.Originally posted by: AmpedSilence
That is possible. Linderman last season did make illusions to a breeding program to "create" Micah. Linderman was a protage of Kensai. Kensai could have started it, but then was imprisoned and could not continue with it.Originally posted by: Phoenix86
Kensai is plenty old enough to have started the family line, though. Hell he could be the beginning of the family line to -all- of the heroes.Originally posted by: Gooberlx2
No....this has been discussed. The only people with related powers through inheritance are Matt and his Dad. Nathan Petrelli is Claire's Dad. If not then they spent a helluva lotta time last season establishing a wasted sub-plot.Originally posted by: scott
So blond, heal-when-injured Adam is probably the real biodad of blonde, heal-when-injured Claire?
Aside from Matt and his Dad it's a total crapshoot. Having powers is inheritable, which power one gets is undetermined.
You'd think he'd try something a little more traditional after finding out he can't kill him and that is to imprision him. Decapitate him and place his head in a box, box in a safe, safe in a ship which is scuttled at the bottom of the ocean. Add concrete to the box and safe.Originally posted by: techs
Hiro doesn't know that he could "kill" Adam/Kenzo by sticking something in his brain so he can only do two things. Leave him in the way,way past or the far future.
I kind of like the idea of Hiro taking him back about a couple hundred million years ago and leaving him to fight dinosaurs.

When Peter fell at Homecoming he bloodied the ground. When Sulu and Adam took that dive from atop the roof of the multi-story building, Sulu's blood was all over the place yet we didn't see or hear mention AFAIR of any other unknown blood at the scene.
Hiro freezes time to sneak a peek at his old man's killer, yet he doesn't try to kill or confront Adam. That's a bit odd.

but they could have entered his room with the haitian, no? block his ability to regenerate, taken some blood...
or maybe they didn't learn about the abilities of the blood until recently?
That's a rather Stupid question. What was hashed out was why he shouldn't save his father not what to do with his killer. "My father gave me the tools to fight the battles ahead. And every blow I strike for justice is his fist." Knowing who killed his dad for it's own sake is pointless; revenge, justice, or reconciliation follows. Not many people in the world will allow a murder of one's beloved father to go unchallenged, a justice denied.Originally posted by: alkemyst
Do you watch the show? The reason Hiro didn't do anything was well hashed out.Originally posted by: alrocky

You can't base a blood splatter on powers though...that's just what special effect they wanted to use at the time. Peter should splatter just as much as anyone else if he didn't stop himself from falling. Not all people in real life splatter even...depends how you land and the velocity you reached.
