It seems like a lot of people hate California. Well you know what? We got the perfect weather, we're one of the most (if not THE most) advanced state in the nation. Hating us because of a few hippies in berzerkley and hollywood thinking that they represent California is idiotic and ignorant. California has much more to offer than just big cities and movies. Redwood forests in northern california (near the Oregon border), Sierra Nevada, Death Valley, The Joshua Tree, the list goes on and on. How could you hate California?

no, i didn't mean that other states suck. I'm merely saying that haters should shut up.

EDIT: added hollywood onto the list and added constructive comments. My apologies for the stupid comments earlier.

how can you categorically state cali is better than all (i am from cali myself :) )

You have earthquakes so often that the news doesn't report them unless 100+ people die.

You are for gay marriage, gay rights...in fact...you're for gay everything...you're just gay.

You hate guns. Are against the military, and therefore against America , in general.

Oh, but you have nice weather. Yes, that makes up for all the negatives.

No, it doesn't. Someday, the San Andreas fault will give way and that wasteland called California will drift away into the Pacific where it belongs.

I'm from California and may I add that this gentlemen does not speak on behalf of all of us (or at least me).

CA is a good place but to say "OMFG LOLZ IT PWNZ JOO" just brings it and everyone else in it down....

okay, i was a little over the line. I didn't mean that California owns all other states. It was directed at california haters only.
