Whatever. California's economy is so bad that the US's credit rating would go up several points if it slid into the ocean.
 
The reason alot of people don't like california is because of the elitiests attitude. Also it gets alot more attention in the news compared to other states.

I actually find that elitest attitude somewhat true. People from other states are pretty friendly compared to, say, some of the Bay Area folks I know.

Redwood forests in northern california (near the Oregon border), Sierra Nevada, Death Valley, The Joshua Tree, the list goes on and on. How could you hate California?

This thread is one massive overgeneralization.

All the anti-California remarks are, in fact, anti-liberal remarks. This makes a measure of sense since California is overwhelmingly liberal but it is not fair to attribute liberalism to 100% of the populace. I'm a republican - and quite a conservative one at that - and I consistantly find myself at odds with people around me; does that mean CA needs to be destroyed or that everyone there is an ex-hippy striving to bring down the man? No. I've met plent of people who think like me and it's just NOT TRUE to say that everyone in CA is for gun restriction, gay marriage, or whatever.

I vote that this thread be annihilated. :thumbsdown:

eh? we are NOT for equal rights... we are for screwing over white people, and asians, as well as anyone who've worked hard to make it into the middle class or above. We also hate the military, any form of predominately displaying the flag.

Here's to you learning to not care about what other people think/say about things such as this! Since it's obviously driven you to defend California. If people are naive to the wonders California has to offer, then that's their own fault right? No sense in letting their ignorance ruffle your feathers is how I see it.
