we make up 10% of the nations economy (twice as much as any other state)
the central valley feeds a large portion of the western united states (and a large portion of the world). mmmm california produce is far fresher then anything iv had from any other state.

Tri State Area > Cali
Cali only has perfect weather if you don't like snow. I happen to like snowboarding, skiing, snowmobiles, days off of work because of snow, etc. Cali also has a bunch of Communist morons living there that bitch and complain about how the government is screwing the little guy while they willingly pay 300k for an apartment the size of my kitchen. Any state where grocery store workers have a union should be kicked out of the Union.

California has 30 million people. To try and pigeonhole them like you just did only confirms what a tool most already know you to be.
California is far from perfect. It use to be a lot better before the influx of immigrants and also workers from out of state looking for work in the tech industry (causing the cost of housing to skyrocket) The quality of life has been going downhill in the more populated areas as the masses move there.
That said, it's still better than most other places I have been too. The population is diverse, the opportunities are there, the scenery is great (especially in NorCal) and the weather in most of California is fantastic. I do like Southern Oregon better though
