I totally understand, I'm serious. It's just that my brother will be using it too sometimes and he says 8GB or nothing. I'll try something.
How's this one? AMD CPU Piledriver FX4300 3.8GHz Quad(4) Core it costs $20 more but I think it'll be worth the wait
No, it's not worth it. The difference between Bulldozer and Piledriver is not enough to make up the 400 MHz difference. Even if it was, that $20 should be going to the GPU anyway.
I've read people saying that there are many problems in the Bulldozer Series that was fixed in the Piledriver.
And by the way I'm just asking my brother for advice
There weren't any showstopper bugs in Bulldozer that would be visible as crashes or misbehavior to the end user. There are some that reduce performance, but when taken holistically, the overall advantage of the 400 MHz and $20 price difference is more important.
Advice is when you give somebody your honest opinion of what would be best for them. Trying to get somebody to do what you want for your own benefit is called self-serving manipulation.
OK, OK we don't need to argue about my brother. The important thing here is the build, right?
I see... so is the the fact that it's more energy efficient compared to the bulldozer even worth it?
And also with the extra $20 could I get a better graphics card than the 7790?
$230 that's too much if it was $190 that would be ok
It's around the same price as the 7850. Can I maybe not upgrade something else?
here is a 7850 from newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...D&AID=10446076

You won't find anything good for $50 here, the prices are much higher. For example the FX 4170 here is $147
