I had a honey nut cheerios bar, banana, and a glass of orange juice.
Is that a good healthy well rounded breakfast?

Lots of sugars...but a lot healthier than most people eat.

Edit: Just noticed you said bar and not bowl of cereal...way too many sugars...but sadly it is still better than most people.

I'd say it's pretty close. I have a bowl of cereal, banana, and apple juice in the morning. So I'm getting the benefit of the milk on the cereal. I don't know the nutritional info on those cereal bars, but I imagine there is extra sugar or something added to make it stick together.

Toast, cereal with milk, orange juice. Follow by shouting "BRING IT ON!" at the top of your voice. Now you're ready.

1 cup of coffee with sugar and milk for me. Probably not too healthy, but I just don't get hungry in the morning. Not until around 10:30 or 11.

You could do a lot worse but I agree with the other poster that it's pretty sugar-heavy. You'd almost be better off bringing in a Ziplock of dry Cheerios, adding an apple along with the banana for more fiber and drink cranberry juice or pomegranate juice instead of orange juice. Similar meal but much better for you.

I had a little bit of low-fat peanut butter on a whole wheat bagel and bowl of instant oatmeal with one scoop of whey protein isolate mixed in.

I had a bowl of rice this morning with seaweed and beef plus broth for extra saltiness :)

I let myself eat whatever for breakfast though. I cut back during dinner.

Well rounded and balanced mean to have a meal with portions of macro nutrients; carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Without knowing the exact contents, your meal was mainly carbs with some fat. Where's the protein?

OJ isn't the best thing to have. It's sugar. Might as well slam a soda. A multi-vitamin and a glass of water would be better.

i usually have a protein shake with glutamine, a multi-vitamin, and a serving of honey nut cheerios. Comes out to about 325 cals with the majority from Protein and carbs, minimal fat. Lots of sugar in the cheerios, but they are so delicious.

Shake containing:

1 banana
1.5 cups 2% milk
1/3 cup whole bran (or substitute oats)
1/3 cup whey protein
2 tbs natural peanut butter
1 tbs honey

About as healthy as you can get... lots of protein, good carbs, fiber, etc...

Have oatmeal instead of the cereal. Skip the OJ (it's mainly just sugar). Eat an apple and drink a glass of water instead. Don't add sugar to the oatmeal, a dash of salt, and a teaspoon of honey (that's a very small amount). It's pretty good, it's what I had this morning.

that is a lot of sugar.

i had a bowl of kashi go lean (the stuff with fiber twigs).

but something with protein is your best bet. a lot of sugar just causes you to crash mid-morning and then snack.

Tis a lot of sugar there. The juice especially, but you are having a healthier breakfast than most.

I tend to have a cup of yogurt, a slice of bread (I have a variety of breads to choose from), and if I'm really hungry, I find myself having one of those "boring" cereals with skim milk, but I love the taste. I tend to like bland foods a lot of times.

Eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans and black pudding with some toast and marmelade on the side :D

Not my usual but had it this morning as it was a day off - usually wholemeal toast and marmelade.
