I've been eating whole grain oatmeal or Uncle Sam's cereal with some Splenda for over a year on my diet. Occasionally we'll cook whole wheat pancakes or French toast on light wheat bread.

This plus other dietary changes have helped me lose over 50 lbs. so far. Must be pretty healthy.

My current breakfast is ~6 cigarettes and a pot of coffee.

Is that a good healthy well rounded breakfast?</blockquote>

Well rounded and balanced mean to have a meal with portions of macro nutrients; carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Without knowing the exact contents, your meal was mainly carbs with some fat. Where's the protein?

OJ isn't the best thing to have. It's sugar. Might as well slam a soda. A multi-vitamin and a glass of water would be better.

There is nothing wrong with having sugar. The sugar in OJ is a natural sugar which is good for you. The vitamin C doesn't hurt either

EDIT: And it also helps to cut the bacon grease on your tongue and in your stomach from the 2 fried eggs, 8 pieces of bacon and two pieces of buttered toast.

Don't worry about it. With that breakfast soon you won't have to worry about getting up at all.

I eat 1 cup of whole grain oatmeal and 1 banana. My mid-morning snack is 1 cup of yogurt and a granola bar.

I've been doing pretty well with that so far.

cantalope diced into low-fat yogurt topped with grapenuts. then maybe a piece of bread with a cup of coffee and a smoke.

If you really are pushing retirement age and eating such a small breakfast I'm going to begin doubting some of the pictures you've posted.

You'd be lean but not big if you ate like you've posted.

Yeah right, a 5 in the morning that's about all I can bring myself to eat. After my morning work out is when I have my first substantial meal and then another for lunch. Also unlike you I acheived my physique naturally (not that I have a problem with guys that take that shit to get big.)

You are right though I'm not as big as I was 3 years ago when I took that picture but that is on purpose. Unfortunately because I'm getting older I started to get nagging injuries and then I herniated a disc in my back a year and a half ago so I had to drop about 30 lbs to relieve the workload on my back. I did that by upping my cardio from 2 hours a week to 6 hours a week, lifting only 3 days a week instead of 4 and dropping my caloric intake. I am leaner but I'm also more cut and I feel a lot better not carrying as much weight plus I have a lot more stamina. Unfortunately my back still goes out on my about every 3 months or so but my recovery time is now just days instead of weeks.

Hey you gotta do what you gotta do.

I've been blending up the following smoothies for breakfast. I rotate them every day so I never have the same one 2 days in a row.

smoothie#1

2-3 cups watermelon
1 bunch parsley
1 sprig mint
1/2" slice ginger
1 tbs wheat grass powder
1 tbs liquid lecithin
Water as needed

smoothie#2

2-3 C Cantaloupe or other melon
2-3 cups spinach leaves, packed
1 sprig mint
1/2" slice ginger
1 tbs wheat grass powder
1 tbs liquid lecithin
Water as needed

Smoothie#3

1 mango, diced
1 banana
3-4 leaves Kale
1 sprig mint
1/2" slice ginger
1 tbs wheat grass powder
1 tbs liquid lecithin
Water as needed

Same here...I'll have my protein shake in the morning then some oatmeal or 100% Wheat Hot Cereal (I don't know what to call it it's slightly puffed wheat...pretty good w/ Splenda) when I get to work.

Haha...RIGHT...nothing wrong with sugar. Sugar is important sometimes...but you can't say, "there is nothing wrong with having sugar"...you sound like a moron.

And you're wrong, not all OJ is just natural sugar...a lot of OJ has sugar thrown in it, have you ever had unsweetened OJ? Tastes completley different than the typical OJ you buy on the shelf...tastes a lot like grapefruit.
