Its pretty horrible, IMO. You're looking at close to 100g of sugar first thing in the morning with no protein. And all of the sugar is the kind that makes a big insulin response.

glass of water, cup of milk, fruit and vegetable

I can't stand eating cereal or bread in the morning anymore. it just makes me feel fat. but most of all, it reminds me of grade school days. I'm like, if I could break patterns, let me live it. some things you shouldn't change though, like deciding to not sleep in like an egg head. lol

The Yogurt Cheerios are deliciousness boxed. (and probably not good for you OH WELL)

Just got a box of the strawberry flavor yesterday, haven't had the chance to open it up but my friend highly recommended them.

Your breakfast is heavy on sugars and low on protein and healthy fats. Throw in a glass of milk instead of the OJ or banana. Toss in a flaxseed or fish oils or at least a handful or almonds or something.

8am
1cup skim milk
1scoop whey protein
1/2 tablespoon flaxseed oil

10am
1 whole wheat bagel
2 tablespoon peanut butter

Hot Cakes with real Maple syrup and Butter
3 or 4 Eggs (preferably Sunny Side Up)
Hash Browns
Pork Chops
Red Eye Gravy
Grits
Black Coffee
OJ
Milk

Now thats a breakfast to inspire you.

yup, and you know what your body converts it to when it has all that sugar and a huge insulin spike?

Fat-free cottage cheese with almonds with water.

or

8 egg whites (;)) in an omelet with water.

I cut down on carbs (I'm trying to cut fat). I still get about 60g of carbs (whole wheat, minus the cheat days) daily from the Turkey sandwich I eat for lunch.

EDIT: "With water" means water to drink, not water in the eggs or cottage cheese.

I usually have a banana for breakfast every morning. I get my milk/cereal intake in the afternoon and at night.

Does it matter if calories come from fat, vs some other source? Lets say there are two meals. One with 300 cals from protein, and one with 300 cals from fat. They are both equally filling. Is one better than the other?

When I lived in Seattle I started out the morning with an ale. Basement bedroom, cold concrete floor kept the stuff nice and cool. First thing in the morning, roll over, grab a bottle, and chug it in a few seconds.

I should mention that I am not an alcoholic, but rather have a ridiculously high tolerance for alcohol, to the point where I drank it only for the taste. I used to have Pepsi first thing in the morning before I discovered ale. :p

Yes, they can affect the body in very different ways.
