There is a different skin that isn't up yet.
 
I want to see how the skin looks, because the current skin looks like ass. They need to at least put the author info at the left instead of on top.

Do we put our feedback here? Or somewhere on that forum? I'll put it here for now. I understand the theme isn't complete but I'd really like to make sure you understand some of the major shortcomings with it currently, the biggest of which is WASTED SPACE. This forum wastes enough space as it is, but that theme is fucking ridiculous. Example:

Current forum list (640 vertical pixels)
New (beta) forum list (2650 vertical pixels)

Why does the new layout need to take up 2,000 extra vertical pixels? The same silly design decisions apply through the forum and I seriously hope you carefully consider how much space is wasted.

Edit - oh I see, you set them when creating a thread. Lose that shit, waste of space. Get rid of any and all unnecessary bullshit, in my opinion. Forums are about discussion, not stupid bells and whistles and tags and ratings.

Edit 2 - also thread icons. Lose them.

Edit 3 - ditch the social groups BS. Waste of time/space. And the calendar. My god there are a lot of bullshit features on this forum.

Edit 4 - oh, and those stupid digg/stumbleupon/etc links at the bottom. Who the fuck is going to digg a forum post? Meaningless fluff features. Lose them.

Another thing. Posters Name and such should be to the far LEFT of the post they make not above it. Like it is here now and how it is on nearly every other forum in the world

Godless you can make them subforums like we have now VB has that abaility. IDK why its not that way currently but it can be done. and hopefully it is

 
Enable postbit_legacy. That'll make it less horrible, for starters.
Would also be nice to have PM Stats rebuilt (it's just a simple counter rebuild, how hard is it to click the button?!?).
Why on earth are you using the vB default theme...

Yes, the current layout with all the forums listed in the sidebar is convenient...but not any big deal if we lose it.

As long as they at minimum reproduce the same functionality as FT then I'm not too fussed as anything extra is a bonus. At least there will be a non standard VB theme (which all look like ass anyway).

theres a drop down menu at the bottom of each page that allows for forum jump, but sidebar for the motherfucking win
 
How do you reset the password? I tried the forgot username/password link but it does not recognize my e mail.

Ya, maybe this is a good suggestion for a plugin.

However, most of you guys need to remember that the upcoming UI change will probably incorporate a lot of the stuff you want changed. Seems like a lot of complaints are UI and positioning related, which is a good thing, because those are easy to fix and debug.
 
Man, I like Fusetalk designs alot more.

But if we must. Add Sidebar, and can you get rid of the last post, threads and posts tabs at the main page? They are utterly useless statistics.
