I didnt say that crime does not occur where I live, but the violent crimes that are being referred to arent as common as many of you are making them out to be in the societies you are living in.

Nice to see you actually respond to one of my posts. See my earlier post where I logically pointed out that the frequency of the crime does not matter, just the smallest risk that it could. I don't get in accidents, but I still have car insurance. And not because the law requires me to, but for my own protection. A law-abiding citizen should own a gun and be trained in its use for the same reason.
