My control build kicks as much ass as ever. Just soloed a tough skill point with proper cooldown usage. Adding 2 stuns through utilites really helps.

I've been booted no less than 10 times now--also twice while attempting to load.

getting frustrating--especially since this is the only day I can play :\

Pretty fun from the 30 minutes or so I've played so far. One question though, is there some "trick" to getting the Interface size option working? It seems like only Small and Normal do anything, Large/Larger don't work? Font is a bit too small on my HTPC.

You might want to add that BETA is open only to those whom Pre Purchased the game.

Technically, it's open to anyone who registered, and received an invite. Anyone who pre-purchased has guaranteed access. Problem with first event, was way too many people purchased, so that limited the access.

Various sites gave away access keys prior to this event. And I'm not sure if those who simply registered, way back when, received invites or not. I suppose it is possible.

Lag was brutal when I first logged onto Fort Aspenwood, I switched to one of the new servers and the game has been buttery smooth for the last three plus hours.

So you're on the server that's compensating for something.

To bad it seems I can't get a DL going from the main GW2 web page cause all I see is it telling me I needed to pre purchase to DL the Beta :-( Oh well I am sure the game would be laggy and buggy to boot on my Phenom II x4 955 and GTX 560 anyway.

Do you have a Beta account? If you did not get a key and did not prepurchase then you cannot get the client because you are not in the beta.

Hmm i forgot to log out and my Human Warrior chain died last night and all her gear is broke, where in the first town do i repair? Can't find a NPC for it.

nah, that's pretty much what I'm running (though a weaker 5850) and it runs like a champ.

it is DX9, btw.

i don't know where it is in hoelbrak (i've barely ventured into that area), but there is definitely an account bank that holds gear for all your characters. In Divinty's Reach, it is next to Minsiter's Waypoint.

You can also try mailing some stuff to one of your characters.
