Doesn't surprise me at all. I'm pretty sure the Sourdough Jack at JitB is in the upper 1000 range.

But maybe you are surprised that it is so low?

The disgusting part is how hungry looking at that burger makes me. :p

I'll take mine without Mayo, though. :p

I really want to try one of those but unfortunately there are no Hardee's around here.

Jack in the Box's ultimate cheeseburger is excellent and weighs in at 1010 (or 1090 with bacon, which is a necessity on such a burger).

Of course there are none of those around here either, haven't had one since I lived on the west coast.

Check out any Chipotle burrito. Those suckers can easily top 1000 kcals.

What shocks me is that there are people who can't come close to guessing what the calorie count is of food in front of them.

That number of calories for the Wendy's triple is far from shocking, and would be virtually the same with any similar sized burger at any restaurant, or at home.

Guess what a Sierra Turkey Sandwich from Panara Bread is? (People would consider this more healthy than a burger)

960 Calories

13g Saturated fat

95mg Cholesterol

That's worse than a quarter pounder.

So you see, not only burgers from fast food burger joints are bad for you. Even what people would consider healthier selections from other restaurants can be nearly as bad, or even worse.

It pays to actually LOOK at what you're eating, rather than just assume one thing is bad while another is good.

Their classic double is very filling. Who can actually eat these mega-burgers in their entirety? And than wolf down 400 calories worth of fries (probably some skinny guy...)

have a hungry man breakfast. over 1000 calories and half of those are from fat :brokenheart:

Hahahaha 231% daily intake of chloresterol.

You realize those numbers are what ANY large 3 egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown and hotcakes meal looks like at any restaurant?

All these foods are naturally high in saturated fat and cholesterol.

Who here has not had a breakfast that included all of these items?
