when it comes to eating healthy
Some people realize that even fat can be had in moderation, and one still be healthy.
There are no one-size-fits-all diets and any all-or-nothing diet is absurd.
This was proven in another thread, but the foods in most sit down restaurants are on average as bad, if not worse than fast foods. And the foods served at fast food restaurants are virtually the same as identical foods served elsewhere, or at home.
So singling out fast food is absurd. If you're cooking a burger at home or eating a burger at your local sit down restaurant and thinking it's better for you than a fast food burger, you're delusional.

On that live poll 97% of the people who voted (80,000+) had ordered a monster thick burger from Hardees with 52% of them eating it all. Only 1.9% said no way would they eat it. Something is very wrong here.

That sounds almost right but, those stats are still kind of strange though.

Yeah, I noticed that about message board dwellers. They're all rich vegans adored by their peers and draped in beautiful women.

Because the buns have trans fat in them. Just like the ALL most popular buns people buy at supermarkets. The meat has no trans fats. Just like the meat at home.
Yes, yes, you'll tell me you buy whole grain buns at $5 a pop with no trans fats. So do I. But most people do not.
At any rate, the .5 - 1 gram of trans fat in the average fast food burger is not all that bad. And you'll find the same thing in nearly every sit down restaurant.

I suppose you never eat out then, right?
BTW, I was looking and surprisingly enough, McDonald's sauces appear to be trans fat free, even if their buns are not.

You gotta admit, the pic of the food outside the box looked pretty nasty though. Denny's Meat Lover's are actually higher in calories and lower in cholesterol, though it has more sodium... more protein too (bonus!). Actually looks edible on your plate too, though it's pretty damn greasy. Had it once like a year ago.
Not bad, but it's not something I could eat regularly.

Man, I've been eating several meals throughout the day, but smaller porportions. Just about any meal I go out to eat now I have trouble finishing (and I'm 200lbs). I guess your stomach adjusts to it.
It does. I easily bloat now when I try to eat a larger meal in a single sitting.
I wonder why that is? I've heard reputable doctors say the "stretching and shrinking" stories about your stomach are merely myth.
