Man, I've been eating several meals throughout the day, but smaller porportions. Just about any meal I go out to eat now I have trouble finishing (and I'm 200lbs). I guess your stomach adjusts to it.

It does. I easily bloat now when I try to eat a larger meal in a single sitting.

I wonder why that is? I've heard reputable doctors say the "stretching and shrinking" stories about your stomach are merely myth.

Nope. There are folds in your stomach called rugae that allow it to shrink and swell. Basic anatomy should be well known to reputable doctors.

Edit: Sorry, not trying to be a jerk. No offense to you, Amused.

No offense at all. Note I never claimed it as fact, just that I had heard it. LOL I guess I never looked deeper after hearing that and just took it as true.

That's cool. :)

And those 1.9% are probably vegetarians or something.
I see nothing wrong with people enjoying a delicious burger. You should try that one.

I'm not a vegetarian and I have never had a thick burger. I stopped eating at Hardees way back in the early 90s after a bad experience at one.

on the other hand, a side salad with fat free french dressing is 110 calories and is only $.99.

and a classic single is only 230 calories, if you don't get mayo, cheese, and don't eat the bun. Add jalapenos for extra kick.

So you can get a very nutritious, delicious meal at Wendys. If you try.

You stopped eating there before they got really tasty, then.
(And I was being facetious ;))

I think I might get a thick burger tonight, not anything over 2/3 pound this time. A one pound burger was kind of difficult to eat.

Heh. Those buritos are about 1200 or more if you get them with sour cream and cheese. Very unsuspecting to most people.

Okay ladies its time to get your lardasses down to the ATL and get you a Hamdog. And then for good measure you can wash it down with a Luther. This is eating southern style! You can actually order these godforsaken things at a place called Mulligan's in Decatur Ga.

Some more goodness.

And another.

Okay, I think I am going to go down to this bar this weekend and get one of each of these and post some pics. I will let you know when I am going to be released from the hospital.

Peace

I guessed like 1000 calories, 1 of these burgers with a fries and a coke always seem to fill me up for awhile.

Warning
If you are fat AND inactive ..... Don't eat this burger

If you are skinny and your metabolism is above average, this burger is no problem.

I probably eat 3k+ calories a day, and this would be like 1 meal of 3 or 4. I always used to grab a nice biggie combo or whatever from wendys on my way back from the beach. Fvcking best food ever when you are hungry and have been drinking salt water. Man im getting hungry just thinking about it.

It's not like it's a mystery. You take multiple calorie dense foods and toss them together and that's what happens.

Tortilla is 330 calories
Meat is 230'ish
Beans are 150
Cheese is 150
Big scoop of sour cream is 150
Throw some guacamole on there for another 150

Eeek!

That burger looks absolutly amazing. This topic is making me really hungry for a hamburger. I wonder if there's any Hardees around here, btw where can you find that luther burger?

edit: there's not hardees in NJ and none in NYC, or Boston, looks like there's none in this area, we still have some pretty decent burger places around here.

Around 700 calories to be honest, I don't really know much about nutrition to be honest.

Did you read the description of the luther burger? The freaking bun is a halved krispy kreme donut. *barf*
