Looks like EVGA is shipping the short PCB version. Seriously, they put no effort into that!

Looks like Gigabyte Windforce 3 or Asus for me.

Yuck, yuck, yuck - Blue PCB!!!!! D:
Hehe, that's my view though :p
I suppose if one has a case without a window, or doesn't mind - or even if they prefer the colour -, then it's fine. :p

Not yet. I'll have to wait until September at least to see what I buy (HD 7950 or GTX 670).

Does anyone have a clue as to exactly when this card might be released?

GTX 680 was released on Newegg at 9 AM EASTERN, that is when I bought mine. They were sold out there by 10 AM EST and by 2 PM everywhere else.

I would assume the same here.

newegg jumped the gun and had the gtx680 cards up for sale way before 9 AM. lots of people made orders and then I guess newegg figured it out and stopped anymore sales until 9 AM.

ATM, I'm waiting hoping the GTX 660 Ti will be out this summer. If the rumored specs are correct, it will essentially be a 28nm equivalent to the GTX 580 with a better price and much lower power use.

No, but I admit that it's an interesting card. Personally I never buy during the launch craze, I wait for deals. The games I play are not especially demanding, so it's not a big deal for me to wait.

A couple of guys at OCN grabbed Gigabyte GTX670s at Canada Computers in Toronto today. This is what one of them had to say:

"Just picked up the same card for $420 ($470 including taxes). Quite surprising. They only had 2 MSI GTX670s (reference) and 2 of these Gigabyte cards (of which, I took one) for tomorrow's launch at the same price. Going to wait out to see if any model tomorrow strikes me as worth ordering/grabbing over this."

Toronto, with a population of 2.48 million people (5.5 million in the GTA - Greater Toronto Area)

Haha!!

Those who want 670s better be on top of Newegg tomorrow at 8:58am - F5 F5 F5 F5!!! I have a feeling this isn't going to be 100,000 unit launch!

Man I actually have one of these on the way. Bought from a shady looking website but it actually shipped with a tracking update. Really wish I held out for a non-reference PCB now.
