Wish there was more property to buy.

Its like they added all these mechanics into the game and barely touched them. Why so few car races? Why so few properties? Why so few choices in hair? Why even offer options when they are so few.
My question is, why so few really good story missions? Every time I start to think "this is getting good" they throw in a silly plot twist and another bunch of do nothing missions. Sigh......

Has anybody completed the Hunting Challenge yet?

Ive only gotten to level 3 or so. Hard enough to stay alive the whole day. Im trying to figure it out without reading a guide. Those kitties are sneaky!

Wish you could hunt with franklin. I bet he would say some funny shit.

Started trying to find the space ship pieces and swam down to see the space ship under water near paleto bay.

Kinda pissed your hanger doesnt act like a garage for the military jet. I stole one and parked it and it stayed there for one save then was gone ><

Is the harrier MP only?

I stole one for all three characters and parked them in their respective hangars. No issues with disappearing.

They disappear when you change stored vehicles, though (for me).

Besides the weak story and lack of missions (GTA4 had at least 88 iirc, GTA5 has ~69), I can't fricking figure out where to park cars at any of Trevor's properties (not his dedicated garage).

I found all three guinea pigs, four of the five rabbits, but only one of the 10 hamsters. It's been driving me mad for hours. I never got any kind of mission failure notice so I assume I'm not too late. The pet shop owner is furious. What do I do next?!

Never mind. I figured it out. Last rabbit was staring me right in the face from the beginning. For the hamsters you gotta
let the cats out and they'll flush out all kinds of rodents, then it's a matter of pouncing first.
Reward sucks though (F**K Lamar!). Oh well. On to the next mission. 100% completion rate, here I come!

I switched to the tank that must have been it. Well that doesnt seem so bad then.

You can park cars at the strip club. I havent figured out how many cars can be parked there. Kinda sucks the parking is so limited with only two buyable parking lots. I customized a couple cars and a bike and now im full. I want MOAR COCKSTARS!

the hanger should be arrange able with all your cars and shit. I would never go back to the house ><

A big pile of medical coke would be cool there and a stripper pole!

Now that would be a DLC

As you can tell I haven't played or even read anything about the game except what has been posted in this thread. Man, it sounds like getting 100% is a wild chore. I have gotten 100% percent completion in all the previous PC GTA's, but this one may be too much.

Found the Duke of death car. Didnt know about it until I stumbled on it. I previously played on the 360. It's on the ps4 and xbox one and pc only. Kickass super strong car! Having loads of fun!

There's a Strangers and Freaks mission with Trevor where you go hunting with Cletus up near Paleto Bay. At one point in the mission, you're free to go anywhere on the map, and there will be no people nor will you get a wanted meter from doing anything... so you can stroll on into the military base and steal a fighter jet without having to worry about getting shot down by the Army. Pretty handy. It's a "glitch" (in a matter of speaking) that's existed from the PS3/Xbox360 release, but I didn't try it out until a couple days ago, and it still works like a charm. Now I've got a P996-Lazer for Trevor to break out whenever it feels like a good time to lay waste to everything.

Speaking of that mission, having foliage/vegetation on Very High makes hunting so much harder; it's so easy to spot the elk when there's basically nothing for them to hide behind.

I started that mission on PS4, took a taxi to Fort Zancudo and stole the Lazer and Buzzard and parked it in Trevor's hanger. Then go on and finish the Cletus mission, now have unlimited access to those two vehicles.

If you are on first or second playthrough, the stock market guide to make over $1 billion for each character

For people that have played both console and PC version, is PC version that much better in details? Thinking if a $700 upgrade is worth it - maybe a GTX 970 for now and Skylake down the road. I have a old ass system, Phenom II 955 and GTX 650 (Asus 24" 1900x1200 IPS display). I kind of enjoy console gaming nowadays, pop it in and sit back on the recliner with controller. Awesome on a 42" LED and hifi system. Want mouse + kb aiming for the shooting though.

GTA V cost $265M to make, including marketing and everything. Mind...blown...

I would say stick with the console version.

PC version has a bit better graphics but the game basically looks the same.

On console you have a much larger player base, so Online is better.

And like you said, you pop in the game and play.

Since switching to PC, at least 25% of my game time involves installing games, dialing in AMD or Nvidia Control Panel settings how i want, benchmarking in-game settings to find the right mix of image quality and performance, inject anti-aliasing if the game doesnt have any built in, muck about with different kinds of vsync etc etc...

On console all you care about is the gameplay, none of this technical garbage because if some texture looks bad or jaggies are everywhere you dont wonder how you might be able to fix it because you have no choice in the matter anyways. All you do is play the game.

Gameplay that involves a gamepad only. If PS4 natively integrated keyboard and mouse supports into everything, I might be inclined to give it a fair shake. :)

Been playing console games since SNES and PC games since Wolfenstein 3D. I can get along with either or. I actually prefer console because of the even playing field, everyone is using the same input method. On PC you have people using keyboards with macros and mouses with sniper buttons and what not. I just want to play a game and know the guy i'm facing isn't gaining an advantage via better equipment.

Half of that is marketing/advertising, the other half is overblown spending, as with pretty much everything these days. Don't be impressed by how much is spent on products, be disgusted at the waste.

It's the most expensive feeling game I've ever played. I see where the dollars went. I'm sure ImpulseE69 could make an equivalent game for less though...

Yes, I do believe I could. And, you're funny in your fanboyism. It doesn't feel expensive. It feels like eye candy, and that's about it. Even saying that, I'm not taking away from the game itself, just how business works. A smaller company wouldn't have spent as much - w/o the arguments that it wouldn't have been the same. Companies answering to other companies answering to stockholders bleed money left and right. It is basic business.
