We'll just have to "wait and see" now won't we? I have super high hopes for a CEO of Exxon with major ties to deals in Russia getting all our highly classified intelligence as SOS.

Russia is a major oil producer, duh, not only that, but they're an obligatory oil producer.

Don't worry OP, you'll still be allowed to take creepy photos of girls as you loiter around campus under Trump's America. If anything you might find new demand for your talents.

EDIT: The only email anyone needs is the "Pied Piper" email. The DNC made an active effort to see that Trump won the primary, and whaddyaknow, he did!

Bottom line is that yes, we have a lousy president, but an even worse disaster was averted.

Yeah, worse disaster averted. LoL.

At least with Bernie Bros., a lot of them turned on the man when they didn't understand why he would support Hillary. I think they have learned now why that was necessary. Still, they saw her as the face of the establishment that they wanted fixed. And they turned their backs on him when they thought he sold out.

Now the right, they claimed they were for the same thing. They elected a man that preached he was for the people and would rid the country of establishment policitians and lobbyists. He then does a 180 degree turn before his inauguration day, and not only doesn't drain the swamp, but dumps toxic waste in it.

As an American, how can you stand by his picks? I can't imagine a universe where Hillary's cabinet picks would be so blatantly in opposition to her campaign, or the will of the people. I also can't imagine a situation where the left would be so quick to "slobber the knob" of their elected official quite like you do. I think his picks are anti-American. I would wager a lot of other people do as well. They are disastrous, and no I can't imagine her doing a worse job of it.

This was a great disaster because the American electorate now officially no longer cares about the truth. The implications of this for the future are staggering. It goes way beyond the specific impact of a Trump presidency. We have a president-elect who brazenly lies to the American public on a daily basis, and practically no one even cares. If the American people can disregard such serial lying on the part of a candidate and elected POTUS, then we can be convinced of anything.

I'm afraid the internet has undermined the foundations of democracy. Welcome to online America circa 2016, where facts are like a commodity that we pick and choose based on preference. Don't like what you're reading on the news? Go read fake news instead if it tells you what you want to hear. It's literally one click away. And it doesn't matter who it comes from. Even a hostile foreign power can manipulate the perceptions of Americans. This is how credulous we have become as a result of virulent partisanship. Literally anything is now possible.

Yes, the American electorate is like Cypher choosing the Matrix over the "real world." In the real-world Matrix it's pretty clear that Neo would have clearly chosen to go back to the source and end humanity than pick Hillary.

Leftists are so emotional. But we've heard this kind of shit many times before. The target changes the details change but the anxiety, the hysteria, stay the same. Hell Ted Kennedy even reached out to Yuri Andropov seeking help in keeping Reagan out of a second term he was so hysterical.

Trump is going to be President. Put your onesies on, suck your thumb if it makes you feel better but most of all get the fuck over it.

Pretty much this. Like it or not, we have a new President and we'll all just have to live with it. Doesn't mean we have to like it, doesn't mean we cannot protest, but this whining is really getting quite old from the snowflake generation.

If people can beyond their identity politics, maybe they can realize that Trump or Hillary doesn't really matter in the end. The fact is that humans as a species are getting more dumbed down through education and other conditioning; that humans only care about things that affect their petty little cause.

  • Gays identify with their sexuality so they vote Democrat.
  • A rural man identifies with a "Christian god" he votes Republican.
  • College students feel in "social equality" so they vote Democrat.
  • Some suburban man hates the idea of global warming so he votes Republican.
  • A black man identifies with his race so they vote Democrat.
  • A man somewhere is sick of Obamacare so he votes Republican.
On and on and on.

Each of these people is playing the game of identity politics. They are focused on their petty little narrow issue to even look at the bigger picture.

I can't access wikileaks at work, any chance you can cut and paste the content? No bigly if you can't. I will point out however that I've been specifically calling out people who claim Hillary or the DNC fucked with Bernie and/or colluded with the media. Those claims are pure bullshit. I will give benefit of the doubt that this email says what you say it does and guess that it is from early in the primaries when it was generally accepted that America would never be stupid enough to elect Trump.

Yeah, presidents lying is definitely a new horrible thing. Not like "I did not have relations with that woman" coming from a philandering guy lying under oath, or "if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor" coming from a guy pushing a horrible 2000+ page debacle. Or maybe illary telling us how she landed under sniper fire, or about supposed reasons her email setup was perfectly okie dokie. The lies of the president elect are now an issue!! The sky is falling! :D

Trump lies more in a single month than Clinton has in her entire career, and Clinton is not terribly honest. In fact, she's terribly dishonest. And her husband is worse. But recall that there was outrage over Clinton's lie about Lewinsky and that he was impeached over it? These days, who cares any more about a single lie when they care coming at us daily?

I didn't say this is the first time a politician has ever lied. It's the frequency of the lying, and its brazenness. By brazenness, I mean that Trump tells lies which can be debunked by any ordinary citizen with 3 minutes of time on his hands and Google. For example, the Trump campaign just said that he won by one of the biggest electoral college margins in history and called his victory a "landslide." This statement can be debunked in literally seconds. The point being that Trump will lie about absolutely anything because he knows his supporters will believe him no matter what he says. He can claim that our entire electoral system is corrupt and that election results can never be trusted (unless Trump wins, then only the popular vote will be questioned), and people instantly believe him. What are the implications of making people believe that our elections can't be trusted?

This isn't about Trump's lying per se. It's that no one cares any more. Anything said which supports your political football team is fine and dandy. Even Russian propaganda is worth re-tweeting if it says something that hurts the other side. This isn't new but the extent of it is staggering. We're fast becoming a society where truth is totally unimportant. You know what happens when truth doesn't matter any more? Hitler blamed the Jews for Germany losing WWI and people believed him. If people can be manipulated into believing anything, we won't have a democracy for much longer.

Yeah, I'm afraid the sky IS falling, and Trump being POTUS is only the beginning of it. From now on, campaigns will rise and fall entirely on how savvy each side is in proliferating fake news on social media because nothing else really matters any more except how much online propaganda is out there because this propaganda will always be believed by credulous partisans. Always. The hacking can probably be avoided with additional security in the future but people's willingness to believe literally anything they read isn't going to change. If you aren't concerned about this, you should be. It may be happening more on the right these days than the left, but both sides are doing it and will continue to do so in the future, at an accelerating rate.

This shows just how warped your sense of reality is. The "very real crimes" you are referring to happened first in the timeline, not after. Of course "very real crimes (plural)" translates to one single incident of assault. Then, it turned out that one of the cases I posted turned out to be fake which then immediately became "ALL turned out to be hoaxes" in the other place's warped reality. Meanwhile, tons and tons more cases pour in every day since then, but you can safely pretend they are all fake.

Again, just showing how stupid you are. Nobody has any credibility. That's why we ask for sources. PokerGuy believes there were incriminating things in the emails but can't produce any actual evidence. How sad is that? Must be awful going through life as gullible as you guys are. Or maybe as they say: ignorance is bliss.
Yeah, all the rioting and burning happening on camera "translates to one single incident of assault." Meanwhile, all your side has is "This happened. Take my word for it."

You're either batshit insane, or just a barefaced liar. Either way, I can draw the same conclusion: you have no credibility.

I swear, it's like dealing with a religious zealot. Arrogantly superior, while possessing no self-awareness whatsoever.

Kindly GFY, you self-righteous, narcissistic fraud.

I'm talking about at the time of that post. That was the very first day, before any rioting started. Guess what? The rioting is over, yet the swastikas keep appearing every day. Don't let that change your mind that it's liberals who are insane though. We make people draw swastikas everywhere of course.

It was early in the primaries and doesn't have anything to do with Sanders. A couple excerpts...

- Force all Republican candidates to lock themselves into extreme conservative positions that will hurt them in a general election;

- Undermine any credibility/trust Republican presidential candidates have to make inroads to our coalition or independents;

- Muddy the waters on any potential attack lodged against HRC.

We need to be elevating the Pied Piper candidates so that they are leaders of the pack and tell the press to them seriously.

Most of the more-established candidates will want to focus on building a winning general election coalition. The ‘Pied Pipers’ of the field will mitigate this to a degree, but more will need to be done on certain candidates to undermine their credibility among our coalition (communities of color, millennials, women) and independent voters. In this regard, the goal here would be to show that they are just the same as every other GOP candidate: extremely conservative on these issues

That the DNC apparently intentionally went to the press to promote Trump, Carson, and Cruz (the three Pied Pipers named) isn't a good look for them at all.

The anti-Sanders stuff was nothing out of the ordinary, but there were at least a few emails where the tone was clearly anti-him and pro-Clinton. That DWS and HRC were good buddies didn't help. Outright rigging against Sanders? No, but what was there was enough to piss off the faithful, apparently.

I'm not a historian, but I'm educated.

For those that don't know, that means "indoctrinated".

When a leftie screams at you to "educate yourself", it means to adopt their way of thinking. Embrace the PC Cult. Love Big Brother.

Small wonder they consider this election to be "so, like, the worst thing ev-errrr?" (must be said with the phrase ending in an upwards tone for full effect.) :D
It's a pushback to their Great Narrative... a denial of the religion they're trying to sell the rest of the world. The bottles of "ISM" they're trying to sell.

Yeah, the anti-sanders emails are actually one email where someone asks if they should attack him for his religion (the reply from the DNC was "no") and one major donor basically asking why the DNC was allowing Sanders to even participate. That's it. That's the point I was trying to make.

As for this shit with pied piper etc. I agree it looks bad but in the context of a political campaign if this is the worst anyone can find then the DNC and Hillary are fucking saints.

Another snapshot of the daily news.
Where I mentioned above the many snapshots capturing the nutty quirks of Donald Trump.
With this latest snapshot, Trump attacks the CIA.
Denying Russia cyber hacking, and opting to believe Putin over our own United States CIA intelligence.

Republicans in congress outraged with Trump.
And for democrats?
Nothing new here.
Just the same-o same-o day in day out from the lunatic known as Donald Trump.

It's becoming quite apparent, this real tangible pissed off state from congress lead by no other than republicans.
Forget about the democrats, focus on the red eyed republicans serving in congress.
Which leads me to believe a high possibility that president Donald Trump could in fact fall victim to impeachment within his first ninety days.
Get the fool out of there, they will say, and allow Pence to pick up the ball....

Who could have foreseen the imminent impeachment of president elect Donald Trump on day one, but not from the left side of the isle, rather from the right side of the isle. His own party.
Something is a changing in Donald Trump la la land.
Mitch McConnell is actually seeing red, and John McCain has this look on his face of "DAMN-IT, I WARNED YOU ABOUT THIS GUY".

Can Donald Trump survive.... his own party?
Snap-shot!
