I'll get better with time 😀 When this comes out, we need to get a ATOT race going on for the car guys so I can ram NFS4 into a wall in whatever American heap I can get 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

I've pulled through it in 5th, it looks deceiving, but the Lister will hold through it, just be careful at the end of it when the road levels off, the car can get squirrily if you need to make a big steering correction...Originally posted by: Thera

well, the CPU runs a 2:14.6..guess that's the time to aim for 😀
Ouch... I played several hours this evening and 2:23 is my best time. I could certainly tighten up a bit of my turns but not by much I don't think. The track quide is very helpful but I can't do what the guy tells me to. I have no idea how someone could take that first "s" turn in 6th gear?!?!
Technically I'm talking about turn #3 (see MoTeC). The first and second turn I can hit full throttle in 6th gear and make it. The #3 turn is the first one after the super long straight away. The quide fellow recommends either going through it in 5th or 6th gear. I can only do it in 3rd gear in the GT.

GTR keeps crashing when I change view modes on my 9800PRO!
I wanna trade in my 9800Pro for a 5900... I wanna span this game across my dual 21"
anyone interested in trading? 🙂

I've always found a joystick to be an unnatural way to drive a car.
I think I got around it though.
I assigned my twist axis to throttle and brake, left right axis for steering, and left the Y-axis blank.
Throttle for clutch, buttons for shifting, whatnot.
Its been working so far, and will get better once I get used to driving with the stick twisted.
I like playing in simulation mode, but there are some physics flaws in this game, esp. when you wind up off the track (which happens to me quite often. . . I'm not used to racing sims. I'm used to aircraft sims, like IL-2, where planes like the P-51 and P-47 turn better at high speeds. This does not hold true for automobiles.)
Heh, its a fun game.
