The clutch doesn't feel too real, but it's still a lot better than most games.

Yeah, I imagine it would be better with a good wheel, shifter, and pedal setup.
 
this game is tough! I'm using my keyboard arrows (driving with a joystick just feels wrong) and its tough!

Heh. I didn't know the course, and was maxing sixth gear on a straightaway. Then a I saw the turn ahead. Heh. Full brakes and full wheel . . and I didn't alter my course at all.

Hmm, now I need to max sixth adn then downshift to 1st to see what happens.

The sound does rock.

This will be a fun way to waste time.
 
AWESOME GAME!!! I LOVE the sounds... the bouncing tranny whine on decel is KEY! The engines sound great 😀 Never heard a game pull off that kind of sound realism before

The suspension behavior is great - glad to race in a game that doesn't feel like the track is made of glass. Real tracks have bumps and waves to them, it's more fun trying to negotiate them through a turn 😀

I'm just getting the hang of it, start posting your best times guys!!
 
...It asks for a password at the beginning of the install...Did I miss something? No one else mentioned it, so I'm obviously being a newb in some aspect.

anyone know of a way to make that game run on a computer that is below the game's minimum requirements? Like can I spoof the hardware type so the config program thinks I have the appropriate hardware?

I figure I can get it to run on 640x480 at the lowest settings.

I don't get why it still does that when I push down on the clutch when I deccelerate. That should only happen when I'm on a low gear and brake without pressing the clutch.
Also I can be on first gear and tap on the clutch with no gas, and it wouldn't affect my speed at all. First gear on clutch with no gas should be like a brake.

This game is wayy too hard. I feel like I'm driving an F1 car, understeering like mad. Could we get some cars like an evo or prosche that can actually handle? I wanna do some drifts 🙂

From what I read, there will be the worlds greatest supercars.

Edit: from looking at the FIA GT website, that should include the Porsche GT3.

I now have reason to break out my MS FF steering wheel and pedals 😛
 
Understeering like mad? What kinda setup are you running? I was running on the bleeding edge of oversteer constantly... then again, when you're driving nothing but friggin Maranellos, Vipers, and other high torque RWD cars... it's very easy to spin out.

I've been playing their TC for F1 2002 a while. Most realistic driving sim I've ever played... GTRacing 2002. I wonder what they've changed in this new game.

Yep... the same people... 😀 they have an FIA license now though.

Can't wait for the 360... 😀 :heart:
 
This is way to hard with keyboard controls.....either I totally oversteer and I spin or I understeer and it doesnt turn through the corner.

I just figured out how to change cars... WOW the other car is soo much more fun. A lot faster, and it handles a lot better too.
I got 2:31 so far...
