This is way to hard with keyboard controls.....either I totally oversteer and I spin or I understeer and it doesnt turn through the corner.

yep that's what happens to me.

exactly what happens to me, too.

Get a steering wheel and pedals ya losers!! 😛

Ran a 2:26.20 in Simulation mode with the Lister, still working on a better time 🙂

Make sure you post whether you're playing in sim mode or not 🙂

I wish I had my wheel up here at school, I'm stuck using a Gravis Eliminator (like a PS2 controller)

I've been avoiding this thread but it keeps popping up so...now I'm going to have to download this tonight when I get home. Damn you!!!

I DO have one, same one as yours! I use my joystick as a clutch too! 🙂

I got the hang of it now.. I don't oversteer and spin out of control so much anymore. It's a lot easier to control the lister car than the morgan.

I did a lap at 2:37 in the Lister, but I haven't played GTR2002 in a while so I need to brush up on my skillz a bit 😛

i'm trying it with a joystick, but damn, it's still pretty tough to even get it to go, let alone go fast.

BTW, it runs smooth on my mobility radeon 9600 128 MB @ 1600x1200, 2XAA, for you people who are worried about the rendering. you could have a pretty slow card and still run this game.

well, the CPU runs a 2:14.6..guess that's the time to aim for 😀

Ouch... I played several hours this evening and 2:23 is my best time. I could certainly tighten up a bit of my turns but not by much I don't think. The track quide is very helpful but I can't do what the guy tells me to. I have no idea how someone could take that first "s" turn in 6th gear?!?!

I noticed it had TrackIR support but it was very jerky. Maybe that part isn't finished just yet.

Holy crap!! I just opened the MoTeC program. It has all my engine stats and data from my races! Cool.

I've pulled through it in 5th, it looks deceiving, but the Lister will hold through it, just be careful at the end of it when the road levels off, the car can get squirrily if you need to make a big steering correction...

I can't get my logitech Momo steering wheel to work. I know the wheel works with my other games. Keeps seeing it as Microsoft Force Feedback and only the Left and Right turn works no pedals. Anyone has this problem...

Technically I'm talking about turn #3 (see MoTeC). The first and second turn I can hit full throttle in 6th gear and make it. The #3 turn is the first one after the super long straight away. The quide fellow recommends either going through it in 5th or 6th gear. I can only do it in 3rd gear in the GT.
