Today was the worst day for me ever, i was coming back from work in my car, driving around going back home, all of a sudden a blue ford explorer stops in front of me, and i slam my brakes, and then i hear crazy noises.
i had hit the explorer from the rear. I was extremely sad that i had hit my car and i got into a accident, and as much as i love my car, i didnt want it to happen, now im 19, but i started crying.
Its my first car, and i wish it never happend. Anyways, the lady i hit was cool about the whole situation and was very nice. The police officer did not give me a ticket for my accident (my dad says thats a good thing) anyways my dad called up insurance after we got my car towed back home, and talked to them for a while.
They said that i have a $250 deductable to fix my car, i have full coverage on it, so thats why. im getting it fixed ASAP. also they have told us to get the car fixed at Sterling automotive.
I have heard they are good, but has anyone on here had any experience with them ?
check the pics out !
Thanks !

1.) It could have been worse, count your blessings it wasn't
2.) ATOT != Blog
3.) Line Breaks and Paragraphs are your friends
4.) You're very lucky the officer didn't give you a ticket
5.) 250 is a very low deductible
6.) No one here has heard of 'Sterling Automotive.' It's probably a mom and pop auto body shop
7.) No one can see the pics in your album EVEN if they do have facebook unless you use the public album feature/link

I remember when I fell asleep behind the wheel and totaled my car. I was scared to drive for weeks. I was just like you, I felt like shit, and though nothing could be worst than this. Don't worry we all make mistakes, and just be glad no one was seriously hurt.

Must be a generational thing. I'm 28 and none of my friends do that Facebook/MySpace shit.

Yeah, I mean, where are the little kids that are scarred for life because of the OP?

I did this when I was 18 because I didn't fully realize the dangers of tailgating. I felt like shit after I ruined my precious new car. You come to realize it's just money. Just don't do it again (tailgating). They're not kidding when they talk about safe distance.

BTW, in driver's ed, they say people will average 2 accidents (regardless of fault) in their lifetime. I didn't think it would happen to me but I've filled my quota already. A lot older now, and more experienced... you just learn how to drive more defensively.

Crying over a car accident? Are you a woman? Sounds like it from the rear ending another car, crying, etc.

i'm pretty sure your car is totalled. you will get the ~1.8k back and you can buy another car. i think the damage looks pretty bad at least more than 1.8k worth. goodluck. don't worry this is why you have good insurance. i got in an accident a few months ago, everything was fine, chalk it up to a lesson learned, drive carefully, and goodluck.

I am scarred for life due to the OP's grammar and punctuation of his post....and he cried.

Glad no one was hurt.
