Did you ask the Attorney General why you have to show ID to purchase vinegar too?

Quit buying SUV'S!
Ford was supposed to release the 2.0L I-4 Ecoboost last year when the new Explorer came out, along with it going into the Edge. It was late, so it turned into late availability for the 2011 models. Still late, so now they're saying 2012 models. And will be in the 2013 Taurus (and I'm sure others).
Remains to be seen a.) how much $$$ it will cost over the 3.5L V-6 (non-EB) that are already in these rides and b.) what type of EPA MPG's it'll put up in each application.
But, Ford is doing what you suggest...
What oil/gas company do you work for?
I drive a car that gets 35 mpg (Hyundai Tiburon)
What do you drive, an Escalade?
Each dollar it goes up I am out about $65/month--and I have the best hybrid on the market. For others who have less efficient vehicles and/or make less money/live closer to the edge it can certainly contribute to pain in a big way.
Nope. Prices falling. Highest price for Regular is $4.79
You lose, please ban yourself.

I drive an 2005 330i and get 23 MPG thank you very much and I fill up every 8-9 days on premium at ~ $4.00 per gallon (16.5 gallon tank)
which means I use 752 gallons per year and a price increase of $1.50 per gallon means I pay $1129 more than I would per year than if gas was at 2.50 (if it that is what you consider normal) which is $94 a month roughly half of my TV/internet bill

Gas could be $99 a gallon and have no affect on you since you are obviously a very rich Republican. Congrats to you but most Americans are not well off like you and that extra $1129 hurts the bottom line a lot. It;s like getting a substantial pay cut.
If he was really concerned about gas prices than you'd think he would learn to go to sam's club where the price is $1 cheaper
there are gas stations around me that are almost $5.00 for premium but I am not dumb enough to go to them when there is one for almost a dollar less
If they could implement this on the Powerstrokes that go into the F Series, it would give a big boost over the others.
No, they didn't. You're lying again, dmcowen.Damn they are playing games.
The 2 stations closest to me knocked a dime back off after they jumped up 30 cents last 2 days.
The Pyranna, the Jokari Deluxe, the Insta Slit, the ZipIt and the OpenIt apply blades and batteries to what should be a simple task: opening a retail package.
But the maddening — and nearly impenetrable — plastic packaging known as clamshells could become a welcome casualty of the difficult economy. High oil prices have manufacturers and big retailers reconsidering the use of so much plastic, and some are aggressively looking for cheaper substitutes.
"With the instability in petroleum-based materials, people said we need an alternative to the clamshell," said Jeff Kellogg, vice president for consumer electronics and security packaging at the packaging company MeadWestvaco.
Clamshell is ok, it's the heat shrink wrap that gets me. I've damn near lost my fingers on multiple occasions prying those freaking things off without destroying me or whatever I bought!Well, higer fuel costs are having one positive result: plastic clamshell packaging is going away!

what they're doing with gas engines has been done on diesels for a long time. direct injection, turbocharging, and piston cooling jets. so, they've already implemented this on the powerstrokes.
This time he is not exaggerating.
I am presently outside of Detroit and what he saw happen in Chicago also happened out here. This weekend, I went over to Western Michigan and the price jump was there also.
This AM, a station that was at 4.14 on Fri was 4.04 today.
the jump happened to those areas that are "affected" by the problem in the pipeline last week.
Typical price speculation until the situation is known and stabilized. then it will slowly drop down when the overall problem has been eliminated.
Gas down to $3.25/gal at the station where I purchase gas. Down $0.18/gas in the past week.
