I see bullshit, I call you out on it.

The problem, Dave, is that you really don't.

If you think something is "bullshit", the appropriate response is to demonstrate how and why it is "bullshit" using evidence and reasonable arguments.

You don't do this. What you do is demonize anyone who disagrees with you about anything, put them into your pre-selected "demon categories" -- whether they belong there or not -- and then throw a temper tantrum.

You are incapable of discussing any issue without making the other guy a "thug" or a "predator". You accused Shintai of working for the oil industry based on -- nothing.

Looking through your posts, a neutral observer would quickly come to the conclusion that you're a paranoid lunatic.

The only ones paranoid are the ones supporting the raping and pillaging hard working Americans padding their 1% pockets.

It's clear you are one of them.

Keep pushing Americans and you'll see lunacy up close and personal.

It's coming.

Thanks for proving my point so perfectly. You don't know anything about my personal finances, but the simple fact that I dislike your crazy postings means I'm suddenly a "1%er".

You're certifiable.

You may not be a 1% but you support them.

People vote against their own self interests all the time, just look at Mississippi and the rest of the south.

Having made a bogus assumption based on zero evidence just a few minutes ago, you move on to make another one.

You're a paranoid kook.

And for all of your rabid, drooling hysteria, average gas prices in the US are about the same now as they were 18 months ago, and below a peak reached about five years ago.

Will they go higher? Probably. Will they set new records? Maybe. Will life go on? Yes.

Thank you. The fact I piss you off means I am doing my job as a dissenter against the Corporations you support.

Your kind is going down and going down fast. Americans have been raped and pillaged to the point of collapse. Then what are you going to do?

Dave has been banned many times. One of these days it will be permanent and the forums will be better for it as he is the biggest troll here, as evidenced by his total inability to discuss something intelligently.

LOL. What "corporations" do I "support"?

You don't really piss me off that much. I mostly feel sorry for you -- you have some real issues that need addressing. You are the online version of the old bum wandering around carrying a sign that says "The End is Nigh", muttering to himself and giving angry looks to everyone around him.

Still waiting for that list of corporations I support.

You can provide that with the evidence that Shintai is an "oil industry thug" (an especially hilarious claim directed at someone from Denmark.)

Your thug Industry hides behind Billions and Billions in profits off the backs of hard working Americans.

Your thugs use excuse after excuse for "Refinery Issues" to raise prices all the while your Product is the number one export of the United States.

It is perfectly clear you are a master of incompetency with the level profits going ever higher and higher while claiming Refinery issues with the very equipment you claim to install and maintain with pride.

Your fraud and incompetency is in black in white in all your posts for the world to see.

Hopefully the American people will rise up against your thug Industry.

It's been building ever since 1973.

When prices surpass $5 this year on there way to $6 I am very confident your thug Industry will start to feel the wrath of the American people.

Enjoy it while you can.

I will say this one more time though I don't it will get through your thick skull.

The company I work for manufactures large industrial compressors and steam turbines which are used in many industries throughout the world and the oil industry happens to be one of our major customers. The company provides installation/commissioning, servicing, and upgrades on this equipment. I've been involved in the installation/commissioning, services, and repair of this equipment. Now I've been promoted to a technical manager's position providing technical support both internally to the shop/maintenance crews and to my company's clients.

and those "large industrial compressors and steam turbine" break down all the time at the Refineries.

Incompetence found and rewarded.

Proof of said breakdowns. Most major refineries shutdown for maintenance twice yearly when switching over to winter/summer blends. During that time major and minor maintenance is performed on this equipment to ensure reliability as the refineries do not make money when they're shut down. However, we all know you cry every time they shut down for maintenance as it causes brief spikes in gas prices.

The company I for whom I work, it's service/repair personnel, and myself look forward to these maintenance shutdowns as we all make good money from repairs and service. 90 hour weeks make for a damned good paycheck if you know what I mean. ;)

China Co Buys Texas Oil & Gas Field

The transaction is expected to close during the second quarter of 2013, subject to customary governmental approvals.

Awesome, hopefully workers from China will displace all the American workers in Texas and they send all the gas to China making Americans pay even more.

Sounds like a good deal as it should increase the demand field workers as well equipment (large industrial compressors).

Scott Sheffield, Chairman and CEO, said in a statement that, “We are very excited to work with Sinochem, a global energy and chemicals leader, in the southern horizontal Wolfcamp Shale area, and are pleased that they share our confidence in accelerating the development of this large, oil-rich acreage position. This accelerated development will add significant production and reserves for Pioneer while enhancing shareholder value. It will also reduce our country’s dependence on foreign oil imports, create thousands of new U.S. jobs, further stimulate the Permian Basin economy and add significant tax revenues for use by local communities, schools, the state and the nation.”

The article states it will create jobs for US workers and help reduce foreign dependance on oil. Are they buying this and producing the oil for US use or for export?

Edit: China owns the lease rights and will help develop the wells (using US workers) and then sell the oil to the US, taking in the profit. While I would like the profit to remain in the US, at least the workers are from here and the oil is going here.
