How many times can
Chiropteran be wrong before he sees the light
Hmm seems pretty clear to me..
When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best," Trump said. "They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.

Sweet baby jeebus. How many times can
Chiropteran be wrong before he sees the light
Regardless if I cut off the quote... You cannot say they are rapists and good people. Those are completely contradictory of each other.
An infinite number of times, there is no coming back from being that disconnected.
The irony of Trump's wall is that the lion's share of criminal activity coming over that border is drug related. The cartels are better funded than the agencies on the other side of the border tasked with dealing with them. The drugs will continue to flow.
If Trump actually gave a damn about the crime of the Mexican border, he'd be pushing for drug legalization. But it's not about stopping crime, it's about reeling in the pants shitting cowards that are afraid of every boogey man presented to them. Or wanting to blame their employment situation, and then their personal responsibility to get a job and/or viable education on anyone but themselves.
In particular "They're rapists." is nonsense. Obviously he said "there are rapists", which phonetically sounds the exact same.
I think you're trying to remember a defense of Trump you read some place that suggested he said "Their rapists" rather than "They're rapists", the implication that Mexico sends their rapists, not that everyone Mexico sends are rapists. "They're" and "There are" are not phonetically identical.
That makes even more sense. I just figured it couldn't be "they're rapist".
Why couldn't it be? By your own admission they're phonetically identical.
Where did you find the image, Comrade ?
Obviously. Which is why any rational human will read that as and see that Trump is saying some are rapist, some are criminals, and some are good people.
Keep in mind this was a spoken speech. Punctuation and such was put into place by reporters doing the transcription, not Trump.

Funny how he keeps ducking the question isn't it?

The safe bet is that it's some really weird and heavily biased source. So at least avoiding the question forces some small internal acknowledgement of using bad information from the expectation of ridicule for revealing a ludicrous 'source'.
Oh smart one, please tell me the relevance.
Oh yeah.
