There wasn't really that much intent behind it, but once I made the decision, I needed to do it before I lost the will to.

This is not healthy. I have been ignoring the symptoms of chronic depression for far too long, and been ignoring my emotional, social, and physical health. This forum has become a time sinkhole and a way for me to blind myself to the reality of those aspects. I am not blaming this forum or anyone on it; rather, I am recognizing my own weakness and propensity for addiction and avoidance, and realizing that I need to face that weakness and devote myself to overcoming it. I am taking steps to face that weakness; this is one of them. With that, I am leaving. I am asking the moderators to lock my account when the subscription runs out; maybe, at some point in the future, I can come back with a new perspective and a new understanding of who I am and how I think of the world around me. Melodrama is not my strong suit; however, I did want to say thank you to the people whom I have met and who have supported me. Thank you, for being the people you are. Goodbye.
