Seeing that Zakath's light is still on.. he might still be reading this

Anyways, I used to have this problem a couple quarters ago, but lately I've learned to deal with it quite a bit. I've set aside a lot of time for doing other activities besides staying in my room, and this quarter I even scheduled my classes so as to have a lot of breaks in between to where I couldn't logically come back to my apartment then go back to school. Hopefully I'm going to use that time in between for working out, studying at the library, and meeting up with people.

I do realize that this online community is much like some MMORPG or other sort of Matrix-like world (in text form), and it is quite addicting, but I do think that we can both reap the benefits of this and still have a life somewhere else with good enough self-control.

You lifers though.. heh.

just kidding

my advice is : don't come back at all. resist. it's a all or nothing thing, and i promise you that you want to choose the nothing option. i'm in the same position. :(

summary : real life is more important than your internet life ;)

Not necessarily. I've been in Zakath15's position before in a different forum :) He will probably visit, but once you lose touch with the crowd, it's kind of difficult to start posting regularly again :)

Zakath15, good luck with everything. Your posts have made very good reading material and I've always considered you one of the less frivolous participants in this forum :) Goodbye!

I didn't see a smiley there, so I'm going to respond. This is ATOT, one of the best forums out there, but by no means the single greatest. I've seen better - ok, now you can faint :p

Goodbye. It's good that you've made a realization that you were getting too drawn into the forums. However, like the rest of life, enjoy everything in moderation. ;)

You will be missed by the community. You were a good poster and certainly of great value to this forum and this country.

Best of luck to you.
