That's why i'm quitting cold turkey :p.

Cant go back to using the computer if it's not here ;).

Goodbye and thanks for your contributions. I can understand where you're coming from... "depression" was what my fiance's brother went through when he used to spend all day and night in front of his computer. Now that they took it away from him, he's doing a lot more of everything else and seems to be "alive" again.

Good luck to ya.

Goodbye. Take care of yourself. It's great that you're taking a step towards living your life to the fullest. God knows that is a hard thing to do. I wish you the best of luck. Check back in on us once in a while.

Wow, I didn't know we had a war forum. I've been busy lately and haven't been keeping up.

Aight. It's understandable. But you gotta take care of yourself first. When you're "sane" again, come back. :D

I took a year break from the forums, and I've been here for 3 years now. :p

This is not healthy. I have been ignoring the symptoms of chronic depression for far too long, and been ignoring my emotional, social, and physical health. This forum has become a time sinkhole and a way for me to blind myself to the reality of those aspects. I am not blaming this forum or anyone on it; rather, I am recognizing my own weakness and propensity for addiction and avoidance, and realizing that I need to face that weakness and devote myself to overcoming it. I am taking steps to face that weakness; this is one of them.

ugh, someone shoot me in the face please!

"I've done more research for debates on this forum than I have for most of the classes I have taken in the last two years."

You probably taught yourself more as well....

Aaaahhh it seems like yesterday we were arguing away in the War Forum (it was), I'm sorry my arguement was so convincing it undermined your perspective to the point of self doubt...... ;)

Good luck, hope you can find your "happy place" so you can come back and play every so often...

Hmm.....is Anandtech proving itself to be highly addictive and indirectly contribute to America's growing weight problems due to the inherently sedendary nature of neffing? Could there be a fast-food-style class action on our horizon? ;)

Zakath: best of luck to you. I strongly suggest you seek professonal help with regard to your depression issues as it's often difficult to "fix" these kinds of things on your own. :)
