Giant IV!!!!

I don't know. This must weight over 600g. And it's not a poor graphic card, it's a cold graphic card 🙂, she's very happy now, and doesn't scream as it used to.

If indeed you are beta testing a new cooler, strongly suggest they include a bracket for the fan (a la Zalman), rather than hanging it off a $150+ video card. 🙂

Why not just include a dual fan PCI slot cooler thingie instead. A fanbus I think it's called. It's already takes up most of the PCI slots anyways. Take some weight off of the video card

Initial reaction: Holy fricking Christ.
Secondary reaction: I wonder if that'll fit my FX5900...

Beautiful pics BTW 🙂

If string is the thing you use for repairing clothes, yes it is string. (sorry I don't know how that thing is called in english, in spanish it's "hilo" if that helps)

Thread.

I don't think so. The fan weights something like 120g, not a lot more than the stock 60mm fan + the huge wire it has. And the card is now cool, very cool. About 34C while playing, 7C less than before.

WOW what a beast!!! ill buy that if it does the job! oh excellent pics 🙂 and i was just about to splurge on a giant 3 but now i think ill wait

Buy it, and buy a low rpm 120mm fan (the one in the photo is an Antec) and some thread. Then just mount the Giant III w/o the blower and the 60mm fan. Then tie the 120mm fan blowing to the Giant III with some thread (let a little space between the fan and the Giant) and.... You've got a McArra Giant IV!!!!!!

It looks like you have only one useable PCI slot left. Anybody who buys this thing better have everything else on-board. I wonder if you could even use the thing on a MicroATX board.
