I just got done playing it and can't believe how much fun it is! The AI rules as well as the graphics. 1600x1200x32 with everything turned up w\o a hiccup. I haven't gotten to any zombies yet but fragging Nazi's is a lot of fun! Now for multiplayer!

get it from ebgames.com...it was only 50 bucks and that was 2nd day fedex...you could try chumbo too...i ordered max pain from them and it was only 39 and i think the shipping was free...or like cheap anyway

u gotta be lying casue i know that 1600x1200 max detail aint running witout a hiccup... granted me and you have GF3's u are running into probs at the Res. and especially with this caliber of a game

OK, you caught me, I like to get on the internet and post misleading experiences with games! I'm sorry everyone I need help! BTW I'm running a Radeon 8500 now and need to update my sig. Like I said I haven't had any problems or choppiness in the game or the cut scenes. look at my system specs, I nearly triple the requirements to run the game!

WTF does this game need to be priced at $54??? Does it do your laundry and vacuum your house? I'll wait until stores start selling it below the suggested retail price of $49.

I agree! If you are playing at 16x12@32, you don't have everything maxed out. I tried it on my system and it was DEFINITELY a no go...well maybe 5FPS is smooth to you. 😉

I haven't found a game yet that I can't run that way. I heard Comanche 4 was supposed to be heavy on the system so maybe I'll try the demo. What is the command for "FPS" in the Q3 engine? I havent used it in awhile. BTW why am I lying again? And no 5fps wouldn't be smooth at all for me. The barrel smoke doesn't even slow it down. I'm guessing it is at least 50fps+ anything after that I wouldn't even notice.

I was a little scared to get this game since my experiences with ATi and new games has been a rollercoaster but Wolfenstien and my Radeon 8500 are like best friends. Not a single problem... no graphic tearing or missing textures to be experienced here. I can even see fog (something I've always missed since I bought my original Radeon 32DDR)!! Gray Matter has even added an option to toggle Truform. I'm not sure if it's working properly but the game still looks and runs great even with 3x Smoothvision.

Try: cg_drawfps 1

Also, does the actuall game seem to run faster than the beta demo? (I would think it would).

And I just read where Wolfenstein is TRUFORM enabled. That ought to look fantastic on the 8500.

Damnit! I have nothing to do tonight and Friday and I want this game. $60 is hard to justify though 🙁 How much is it at CompUSA?

$49-59 is just too much for me to spend on this game. Guess I'll have to wait till after I get my 8500, and then hopefully by then buy it on the for sale/trade forum for cheap.

I love the demo, and play it about 2-4 hours every day. :Q

Got it already,
had some problems changing the resolution above 800x600 on my voodoo 5, but its fixed now.... he, he

Got it, $55 at EB. Looks really good, best looking game out IMHO. Whips the llamas ass on my Ti200.
