Some scholars hold the opinion that the homosexual should be thrown from a high building as a punishment for his crime, but other scholars maintain that he should be imprisoned forever until she/he dies.

Can a dog marry a bird?

If two men or two women can marry, then why not? What is the definition of marriage?

There a good starting point. Words have meaning, so define marriage.

Wow.. really starting at the beginning with you, isn't it. Ok, I'll bite.

Can a dog marry a bird? Sure, if they had a government or a church that was legitimized by their support and consent.

What's the definition of marriage? Good question, as marriage used to be strictly about assigning women as property and about the allocation of wealth/possessions. It also used to be restricted by race; a white man or woman couldn't marry a black woman or man... and vice-versa. It also never used to be something you could get at a drive-thru. The only constant about marriage is that it has changed as society has evolved.

Definition of MARRIAGE

The state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law.

If that was the offer, I decline.

No problem... I'm sure you'll find out someday.

Still waiting for your definition of marriage.

Well, assuming you've read my post in response to your questions about a dog and a bird, here's my definition:

Marriage is the recognition of relationships that are beneficial to a nation's society. Heterosexual relationships that are committed and monogamous are beneficial to society because they create the ideal environment for raising children. Homosexual relationships that are committed and monogamous are beneficial to society because they reduce drug abuse, the spread of STDs, crime, and because they increase property values and strengthen neighborhoods. Heterosexual relationships do many of these things too.

Marriage is sought for many reasons. Some people seek it because they want only the legal/financial benefits, some want it because they want their government to acknowledge their loving lifetime commitment to another person, and everything in between. Homosexuals have the same spectrum of wants, desires, and motives as everyone else... both the good ones and the bad. The only real difference is in what they do sexually. Not all heterosexuals are worthy of marriage, and neither are all homosexuals. What matters is the motive and the commitment, not what their sexual orientation is.

Shit!

The wife wants me to take her to Fort Worth......NOW!

This was getting fun.

Y'all know that I am just fucking with ya, don't ya?

LOL!

I'm smarter than you, that's for sure.
Well, because you said it, it must be true. 🙄

Let me ask you this, genius: If we deny Jill the freedom to do something that John is free to do -- like, say, voting -- solely because Jill is a woman and John is a man, what do we call that?
