I have a GameCube in my bedroom and a DreamCast in my living room. I have some serious fun with both systems and have plenty of games on both systems especially the DreamCast. The only regret I see in buying the GameCube is the fact that their online strategy went tits up! The only game you can play online is Phantasy Star and that is just stupid. If I could go back in time and do it all over again, I would have bought the DreamCast and the PS2 and set it up to be wirelessly connected to my network. Don't get me wrong, the GameCube is a great product, but the lack of quality titles hurts its sales and their online strategy is nonexistent. The only way I will buy a console in the future will be if they have some serious developer support and if almost every game they make for the system will have multiplayer capabilities that can be utilized online. It also should have wireless network support built in so I don't have to spend a few extra bucks buying a bridge and crap. For me, I'll stick it out with the PC.
I wouldn't buy an X-Box due to the fact that most of their title do end up coming out on the PC after a few months.
