You need way more medication than I am on that's for sure.

No I don't. I have very high empathetic intelligence. This allows me to argue with virtually anybody about anything. Because regardless of how I feel, I can put myself in the shoes of the opposing viewpoint.

It's both live and lip synced at the same time.

I believe it works something like this: Rehearsals are recorded, and available for play back during the performance. Through software, the live singing is compared in real time to the pre-recorded track(s). When the live singing matches the known good performance of a recording, to a certain threshold, the live part is emphasized in the mix, when the singing is outside of the threshold the recorded part is emphasized. The mixing (panning?) is automatic and in real time within preset parameters. Add in some auto tune, backing tracks, effects, and all the other engineering and it becomes something new.

LOTS of people know how. And sound engineers also know how to edit the breathing out.

I can see how it adds it can add a level of authenticity to the music by having the breaths in there, similar to the fingers moving on guitar strings as they reach different chords. BUT normally it is toned down so it is not just as loud, or even louder than her actual words.

When she said down it was painfully obvious and distracting. Please just admit that. We get she's beautiful and a wonderful performer, and has changed the landscape of the 21st century with this performance, but just admit the breathing sucked.

Why are you so worried about this?

I'm sure she's hanging on every word from this forum, looking for insight as to how she can better her career.

I've mentioned it in the past, so it should come as no surprise to anyone here that I am Lady Gaga.

well I must say, as a musician myself, I am awed at your musical background and I call myself a 'musician' in the loosest possible definition. But yea, not really a fan.
