one has nothing to do with the other.

Often they do offer alternative ideas. It's just easier to get out a simple message like "MoveOn.org" on a placard than something like: "We disagree with this administration's policies on domestic and world economics, global warfare, nuclear weapons, Social Security, marriage rights, and many other important issues. We support a bipartisan effort to clean up the environment, and lessen our dependency on foreign energy sources. This administration has failed in most regards to supply the American people with that which they have promised, from economical security to personal physical safety. MoveOn.org." It just turns into a big problem when no one can read and comprehend what is written on the 3'x3' sign you're waving around...

Intersections were being blocked by idiot drivers who can't stay out of them. I decide then to just head back home..and 35 minutes and a mile later, I'm back home.. That's about 2 miles in almost an hour and a half, ridiculous.

In conclusion then, fvck protestors. They serve absolutely no purpose, anyone that supports their cause will support their cause regardless if they protest, the people against them will not be swayed, and they only serve to piss off the middle ground people, like me, to be sure to never support them.
