We were out of water here at home, so I decide to take the very simple task of going down to the grocery store and get some. Not too hard right?

However, as I was driving down to the grocery store no more than a mile and a half from my place, I notice right as I pull out into one of the streets that there are cars basically stopped in every direction. We inch forward ever so slowly, and after about 25 minutes I'd gone about half a mile. The street which Ralph's is on was absolutely crazy, so I decide to try to take a detour onto what I thought would be a little less busy.

Little did I realize though that the street I was planning on detouring on was closed off as well, so I was forced to make a huge circle back in the direction of my place. About 20 minutes later and another half mile passed, and I try one more time to find another detour to just get away from all the traffic and be able to drive at more than 10 mph. I eventually find an empty road, and look for a way to get on a street that will lead me somewhere. However, once I do, what do I find but even more traffic. Intersections were being blocked by idiot drivers who can't stay out of them. I decide then to just head back home..and 35 minutes and a mile later, I'm back home.. That's about 2 miles in almost an hour and a half, ridiculous.

In conclusion then, fvck protestors. They serve absolutely no purpose, anyone that supports their cause will support their cause regardless if they protest, the people against them will not be swayed, and they only serve to piss off the middle ground people, like me, to be sure to never support them.

Not to be political or anything.

I think we need to see rants from you about things other than traffic in order for you to continue to post here.

Thank you.

Protesting is not an occupation, they need to get a job.

My favorite is European protestors though. I saw protesting an Oil spill. HHAHA WTF, WHO THE HECK LIKES AN OIL SPILL. If it already happened and you protest it, it isn't just going to go away.

They have this "indoor plumbing" stuff now. Really remarkable. I just got switched over a month ago and haven't run out of water yet. Wild, huh?

Other than the "fvck protestors" part in the last paragraph, nowhere in your story are protestors mentioned. You could have at least included some details.

what makes you think they don't have jobs? anyone can get a day off

thats a stupid example also, its not the oil they're protesting against its the fact that it spilled on a coastline... and that it should be... prevented in the future...

Streets were closed off due to protestors. I thought it'd be a given.

Should have ridden a bike instead of driving. Would have been there in 5 minutes. Hell, even walking wouldn't have taken more than 15 minutes.
