The problem is your looking at only one aspect of people.
You are looking at wealth as the only measure of someones worth.
You are not looking at those that add to society in other ways.
Where do the painters, writers , musicians, theorists fit in ?
Many of those are poor and never will be considered wealthy, but they contribute much more .
It may seem like a society that only had the highest IQ people reproduce would thrive.
In fact it would crash and burn.
