the license plate info is probably your best shot. it should lead you directly to the owners.

I was in Santa Barbara for the weekend and while there I found a 256mb CF card on the ground. I glanced through it and there are over 300 pictures of someone's family. Disneyland, baseball game, football game, also looks like pictures from a wedding. I feel bad b/c the first picture dates back to April of 2004. I hope they at least backed these up, and I don't think there is any way to find out who owns it?

Update: Looks like the family lives in or near Joliet, IL. They are going to, or have gone to Joliet Catholic. Someone played for the "SB Buckeyes" ...please post if you know/might know what SB stands for.

Update: Im now pretty sure that SB stands for St. Barnabas.

I live near joliet, was there the other day

Are you sure the car belongs to the family in the picture? Mightve just been a coincidence?

Joliet Catholic Academy, a member of the Illinois High School Association and the East Suburban Catholic Conference, offers all students the chance to compete in interscholastic athletics. Currently, JCA offers the following sports for the Angels (girls' teams) & the Hilltoppers (boys' teams):

Prob not JC. I live in Chicago - If I can do anything to help, let me know.

Yea? Ok, I checked out the St. Barnabas website but they didn't talk about their sports teams at all. I know the families last name, so I think I will email the school.

I found a link to a basketball tournament in one of the area high schools, and the St Barnabas 'Buckeyes' were on there (although they didn't do so well :)).

Keep us updated, and  to you for being such a great person! The world could use a lot more of you around! :)

I'm about to call my friend who's parents both work in law enforcement....police officers can run plates for free at anytime, right?

Thanks for confirming that. If we can't get an ID on the car owner than I might have to contact the school.

I think St. Barnabas goes K-8th which would cover it.
