Very thoughtful of you!

I was recently in NJ on vacation and took over 200 pics with family I havent seen in a decade and it wouldve killed me to lose all those memories. Great job on returning it to the rightful owner.

They were supposed to email me when they got the card, but no email yet. Ill email her tomorrow and see if they got it. I assume they did though, USPS rarely lets me down.

im sure it got there ok though

Wouldn't it be ironic if, after all your hard work finding the family, that the postal service lost the card?

does it feel kind of anticlimatic now?

Like maybe they didn't appreciate all the work that went into this?

A little bit, I would have turned down any offer of a "reward" though. Im not worried about it, im just glad to know a 100% that it got back to them.

I was just about to suggest that they read this thread, then again the OP didn't do it for recognition.

You what? You erased the card before you sent it??

:p

Great job returning it. Astounding that a reward wasn't offered tho. :Q

They could probably still send you something if you had a return address on the envelope...I would atleast have purchased an amazon gift certificate or something like that and emailed the certificate number to you.

Either case, what goes around comes around, even if its not from them. :)
