Ok, I put the list in the main post.. If your car isn't on there and you have a good case for it, let us know and we'll add it if everyone's ok. Or deny it. One of the two. :D

Joined a public RWD lobby yesterday. First room I joined was full of D-bags who voted me out as soon as I joined...next room I ran was better but I wasn't doing so hot. Most of the cars I raced against used no aero and were flying. Once again, I'm thinking that we need Aero to keep things balanced. I don't care if we're setting blistering laps, I just want things even-ish.

let me guess u were either on sedona or road america or motegi

Three things:
1) I want to change my requested track to Ladera Test Track - Full
2) I think we need to lock it down so that whatever build you decide on you must use all season
3) Is there no PI cap?

No need to remove your last pick, we can just add that one

and RTFR.

Well if we have to pick and choose I pick Ladera.

As for RTFR...I dunno what that means but I assume it's something about "read."

So quiet.

Can we lock down the rules for those two things I mentioned yesterday (HP cap/locked car build)?

locked car, yes, HP no cap, but that's just me. my Gallardo is 540 HP, but is slower in the straights than other cars. I think it's heavier which is why. I think lets just keep it with a A600 PI.

We could go Spec Tire...the higher your grip the more your PI will jump with a boost to HP.

I just want to keep trap speeds even-ish. Yes, that is totally because of Famous, is that so wrong though?

True, but we pseudo-axed the GT3 because it has no aero. I doubt the GT3 RS can keep pace down the straights.

Spec tire would totally kill a grip tune that some might want to build.

I wouldn't worry about famous. He'll be the bored one sitting for 10 minutes at the start line :p

I don't even know what trap speed is?

As for Famous on the line for 10 minutes... if we have collisions on, are we going to have to dodge him for 4 laps as we come across the line?

I removed all the no-aero cars I knew of from the list and everyone said it was good to go.

I don't even know what trap speed is?

The trap speed is the measured "instantaneous" speed of the vehicle at some timing location, for instance at the end of a 1/4 mile run. Also used to describe the top speed a car achieves at the end of a straightaway on a circuit.

Spec tire would totally kill a grip tune that some might want to build.

If our spec tire is race compound how does that kill a grip tune?

How about this. Bring what you got for tomorrow. We'll rewrite and finalize the rules after tomorrow's test run. If one car or type of car are obviously overpowered (not counting a better driver), we'll modify as needed.

Sound's good (and is what we've planned).

To be honest, I wasn't thinking about a race tire requirement. Although, that probably would take a decent hit on HP numbers.
