Yeah but while we may be like WTF is wrong with the guy, his rabid and rather large base just loves him more because of it. THis solves nothing. It just solidifies each camp more into their positions.

Indeed. Maybe the spell is wearing off. I mean, we tried to tell 'em, remember? They wouldn't listen of course because we're the enemy, the libtards. They were all caught up in the raving, the chanting, the witch burning, the swamp draining & the MAGA. And it felt great, I'm sure.

Not so much anymore. After that performance by Trump, it may be dawning on them that they might have made a mistake.

*sigh* nah. They're suffering from a curable disease. They're stuck on magic and hate curing them rather than the actual cure.

I'm not a liberal and I could see from a mile away trump was a douche bag. I'll be voting democrat for the first time in my life this November.

Remember how laughable it was when they first trotted it out as their excuse for losing the election? “We didn’t lose! No no no no. Russia hacked the election!” It was such an absurdity. And yet that is the power of the corporate media. As laughable as we thought it was, they still forced us to think about Russia, debate about Russian, talk about Russia, hear about Russian. I’ve tried to ignore it as much as possible but there’s only so much you can do when the corporations are pumping that into the culture 24/7 for a year and a half.

Think about what a huge scandal the #DNCLeaks actually revealed. The Democrats rig their primaries for the candidate of their choice. They give that candidate the debate questions in advance. What this means is the choice in elections, at least on the Democrat side, is an illusion. Huge reveal. And yet how much have we actually thought about and discussed that in the last year and a half, as compared to Russia?

It honestly feels like a form of mental abuse. We’re being forced to think about nonsense.

This place is gold. I think I could have some fun trolling these people.

What I learned from reading r/The_Donald is that there's not much difference between 14 year old males on xbox live and 40 year old MAGA dudes on Reddit.

I can only deduce that they issue instabans left and right for the sheer reason that there doesnt seem to be any critical dialog... Either you are a blind follower and devotee OR the donald is not a place for you. I think.

We don't need all of them. Just some of them & I think it'll happen. They just got stupid mad &... did something stupid. Most of 'em will figure it out.

It's proof that we do need two americas actually.

I don't think so. It's a Trump fanboi forum. The most unfortunate among them are hopelessly mesmerized but I don't think they're representative of Trump voters at all. A lot of the latter just got conned, riled up & carried away with a stupid idea.

A part of the nation that can't and won't be reasoned with... So it's time to go beyond them.

I agree. He has like a 42% approval rating right now among likely voters. That's obscene. I'd say at least 2/3 of them are virulent supporters. That's close to 30%.

That's 30% of Americans who are hopeless douchebag idiots. I'd say we can split the country up into 2, and the middle can pick their camp.

I think it's fair to cut back on red state welfare.

THAT WAS AWESOME! Thank you! Made me laugh heartily!

My wife usually doesn't do politics. She knows enough to know Trump is, well, Trump, but doesn't have an innate interest as we do. I was trying to explain the interview and just quit and went to Trevor's bit and she had that mixed reaction of being appalled and laughing at the same time. I don't even know if there's an English word that describes it but I bet you know what I mean.
