Who is going to investigate the FBI and the Attorney General? This sounds like Benghazi all over again. Cancel the election and arrest Clinton already.

Your head looked better above the sand.
  • They felt that he betrayed them and brought disgrace on the bureau by letting Hillary off with a slap on the wrist.
  • He was depressed by the stack of resignation letters piling up on his desk from disaffected agents.
  • The letters reminded him every day that morale in the FBI had hit rock bottom.

But everything you're saying is based on bullshit from ultra right wing websites.

Why do you read this nonsense? You're better than that. Don't read propaganda.

You appear to be completely ignorant. Let me repeat earlier links, as I know this topic is moving fast.
If her ex-Husband has state dept. emails, Huma would have violated many laws, including perjury.

Huma Abedin Swore Under Oath She Gave Up ‘All the Devices’ With State Dept. Emails

Do you ever read past the headline?

Abedin can claim to have merely been mistaken if work related emails are on that device.

Y'all won't be changing anybody's mind before the 8th, anyway, but do enjoy yourselves.

Comey has made it clear for some time that he doesn’t believe he works for the attorney general,” said Matthew Miller, former Justice Department spokesman for then-Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. “When your boss tells you what to do, she shouldn’t have to give you adirect order. Comey believes he alone is the paradigm of ethics and judgment. He has a 10-year-term, and he has decided if he wants to violate the rules, he’s going to violate the rules. And if they don’t like it, the president can fire him.”

"
Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) sent a letter to Comey on Sunday, saying he thinks the FBI director “may have broken the law” by violating the Hatch Act, which prevents FBI officials from using their official authority to influence an election.

“I have been a supporter of yours in the past,” Reid wrote. “When Republicans filibustered your nomination and delayed your confirmation longer than any previous nominee to your position, I led the fight to get you confirmed because I believed you to be a principled public servant. With the deepest regret, I now see that I was wrong.”

the interesting part is Comey's boss does NOT have 10 year term but Comey does. It is rather interesting power play here. In private industry, he would be asked to empty his office and escorted out.

Wow... the FBI is in revolt over letting Clinton go for her crimes.
'Some people, including department heads, stopped talking to Jim, and even ignored his greetings when they passed him in the hall,' said the source. 'They felt that he betrayed them and brought disgrace on the bureau by letting Hillary off with a slap on the wrist.'

According to the source, Comey fretted over the problem for months and discussed it at great length with his wife, Patrice.

He told his wife that he was depressed by the stack of resignation letters piling up on his desk from disaffected agents. The letters reminded him every day that morale in the FBI had hit rock bottom

There's a reason that sounds like it came from a tabloid...

Ask yourself how realistic you think it is that Comey's wife was talking to the press about something painful he shared with her in private. Or maybe you think some 'friend' of Comey's wife that she confided in shared it with the press instead. How reliable do you think that 'friend' is?

If ANYONE has resigned over the Clinton issue, which I doubt, it's probably someone who was near retirement anyway.

Are you required to turn over your work related data (which you get to cherry pick too btw which is great) to the American public under the FOIA though?

Can you please stop. You are on a technology forum sounding like an idiot. When you delete something, you intend to get rid of it permanently, whether you bleach it or smash it with a hammer.

Or just hand it over like you're supposed to...

Ironic. Comey accuses HRC of possible mishandling of "classified" information and yet this, information in an ongoing investigation by federal authorities itself is usually considered "Confidential" and yet he broadcasts it to the world.

Which one is higher breach? "classified" or "confidential"?

based on everything you know about the latest development, what's been announced since Friday that suggests Hillary should be in jail?

So what? That doesn't mean the deletions were work related.

WTF do you think will be found, anyway?
If the rumors are true that the FBI now has in possession emails that were previously deleted and unrecoverable, I guess we will find out. Could be yoga routines. Could be recipes. Could be cat memes. Could be evidence that leads to indictment, or puts Abedin in the hot seat.

Chances are that where there's crop circles there's aliens, obviously. But only for True Believers.

Poor Clinton supporters don't know what to do. They are up in arms but wont admit their candidate has had "issues" with honesty, voracity and taking selling influence for her foundation for years and years. The emails proving Clinton broke the law are kind of like a cold shower.

Now they are afraid Clinton will lose. I wonder if they will riot in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York when Trump wins?

it's a shame Republicans chose to nominate someone so bad that it honestly doesn't matter... I can't think of a single moral failing that might be uncovered in Hillary's aide's emails that would hold a candle to the catastrophic policies Trump wants to enact.

I think they already know what was in the e-mails before Comey sent his little letter.

I also think Huma is going to be in trouble.
