Looks like Comey is throwing the reps a hail mary. Only thing that matters is will this affect the election?

Mounting resignation letters at FBI taking its toll on Comey. Daily Mail so read with a grain of salt, but interesting:

Wow... the FBI is in revolt over letting Clinton go for her crimes.

'Some people, including department heads, stopped talking to Jim, and even ignored his greetings when they passed him in the hall,' said the source. 'They felt that he betrayed them and brought disgrace on the bureau by letting Hillary off with a slap on the wrist.'

According to the source, Comey fretted over the problem for months and discussed it at great length with his wife, Patrice.

He told his wife that he was depressed by the stack of resignation letters piling up on his desk from disaffected agents. The letters reminded him every day that morale in the FBI had hit rock bottom

Are you required to turn over your work related data (which you get to cherry pick too btw which is great) to the American public under the FOIA though?

Does it matter?

If you don't think that the drives should have been destroyed, that's fine, but sensationalizing the method of destruction adds nothing to the discussion.

The very existence of these things are crimes that Huma would be in jail for.

I'm going to lmao at the responses from people like you if this turns out being a huge nothingburger... you're going to go from "They've got that wascally wabbit!" to "WAHHHHHHHHH!!" in nothing flat.

I wait in anticipation... :D

Sen. Harry Reid is now jumping on Comey but with a bit of a twist:

In my communications with you and other top officials in the national security community, it has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisors, and the Russian government – a foreign interest openly hostile to the United States, which Trump praises at every opportunity. The public has a right to know this information. I wrote to you months ago calling for this information to be released to the public. There is no danger to American interests from releasing it. And yet, you continue to resist calls to inform the public of this critical information.

I like this... if Comey thinks what is going on with Hillary is of national interest in light of the coming election, he should follow suit with Donny Trump and his campaign's ties to Russia/Putin.

You appear to be completely ignorant. Let me repeat earlier links, as I know this topic is moving fast.
If her ex-Husband has state dept. emails, Huma would have violated many laws, including perjury.

We don't know what they pertain to and she made damned sure that was the case. Deleting, bleachbiting, destroying with hammers. All while under subpoena not to do that. Not to mention what started it - not using the secure work email but setting up her own server.

Spin all you like but she dug her own grave.
If this is true, why wasn't she charged with obstruction of justice?

Jesus wept, that is your personal opinion.

You've really gone (further) off the rails.

Your head looked better above the sand.
  • They felt that he betrayed them and brought disgrace on the bureau by letting Hillary off with a slap on the wrist.
  • He was depressed by the stack of resignation letters piling up on his desk from disaffected agents.
  • The letters reminded him every day that morale in the FBI had hit rock bottom.

We don't know that. It's speculation & innuendo. The only verifiable information we have is Comey's letter. The rest is bullshit that may or may not be true in the particulars.
If we get the confirmation, would you change your opinion?

Apparently Dr Doug's post went over your head as far as how it pertains to the topic.

Like "WHOOSH!"...lol! No need to further engage the moron wearing blinders, he's locked in on stupid and doesn't care about what I said.
