Father charged with "headshot" killing of drunk driver that killed his 2 sons

My DUI was with me in my parking space at an apartment I was going to be moving out of the next day due to the soon to be ex calling her cop friend.

Also I had a total of 4-6 beers that night (I think it was 4 but I don't remember not since it was 15+ years ago) and some how blew a 0.168. The whole thing was fucked up.

Fortunately, most insurance companies don't care about 1st time DUI's and it became just a financially expensive thing; they even let you buy back your community service time at $10/hr. All in all it cost me about $5000 plus whatever cab fare I had the first couple months before I could get a work only license.

I was coherent and did my road sides perfectly. I even said the alphabet backwards 3 times correctly. The dick cop had me doing all this on the double yellow lines of a semi-busy road. In the video you can see the cop and his partner actually jumping back a few times from people flying by.

To fight the case would have me out at least $10,000 and more than likely close to $20k.

I am sure I am a much better person than you are though in real life.

Yes. Like I said, this was supposed to be more intimidation than anything real.

They walked me to the street which was next to my parking space (about 3 feet of grass between it).

where they pulled in behind me left no room there to do it...it was a small complex, about 10 units.

Regardless, the breathalyzer was suspect...to defend the case was simply not worth it. Nothing permanently happened to me.

I have no reason not to be honest about this, there is no benefit.

Where did I lie above? I actually had the tab with me and provided that to the police to show them I had not had a lot to drink that night. It was over an 8 hour period. My tab started at 6pm and ended a little after 2am when the bands stopped playing and I drove home. As soon as I pulled into my spot blue lights came on and they pulled out from within the complex with my ex waiting there ranting about how I can't break up with her she is breaking up with me.

You need to get a life and start being honest and adding your own content here instead of just crapping on everyone else. It's pathetic.

The best part is silliness of this and the felony murder charges against Zimmerman. Man does something legal that results in the death of a guy: 'burn him at the stake!' Man does something incredibly illegal and kills two actually innocent kids: 'ha! You people saying the father shouldn't be convicted are stupid!'


Without a murder weapon and GSR, the entire case is circumstantial. There is no way a jury would convict the father. And "seeing the father in the area of the crash" is beyond stupid testimony for a witness. Of course he was in the area... He was involved in the fucking crash right outside his house!

BTW I didn't ruin my credit. Due to my mortgage company not reporting the payments I have made to them (and have been in court with for 3+ years now), my credit was ruined due to those false delinquencies.

If you know anything about DUI (which you obviously don't), the only thing you will see for Florida is a single sheet with the charge and then a fee sheet with all the fees/fines.

Public record is public record for eternity. It's not against the law to republish anything unless the documents are sealed by the courts. DUI is so commonplace now with 0.08 and lower limits it's relatively ignored...those aren't the people hurting anyone and why even the FOUNDER of MADD is against what's become of it all.

She was never against someone having a couple to few drinks and driving...she was against those that drink till they cannot function and then try to drive home.

There is a big difference.

Most around a public night spot from about 11pm Friday to probably 2am Sunday morning if pulled over would blow 0.08 or so.
