I wouldn't be so sure about that. I know a few girls that might be in her range of body type and some who are eveb fatter who run half marathons

I more or less hate running and running more than say a mile at an 8 min pace kills me and I look like an athelete. And i play tons of basketball. Some fattish people can keep up a 10 Min mile race for like 5-10 miles
I'm just saying if I had to guess I'd bet she doesn't spend much time in the gym, whether biking or running or anything other than eating ice cream.

My zombie apocalypse comment was more along the lines of not much food so need a woman with some stored on her.

Does anyone think the model's head in the OP has been photoshopped? It looks to me like they've taken an average (ie. thin) model's head and stuck it on that body.

Sorry for the double post, but some posters' standards for bodily beauty borderline on comic book standards, disguised as rational, pseudoscientific reasoning. I realize most of the American population is categorically "overweight", but the average people who aren't dont exactly look like supermodels.

I would be hard pressed to call most of what's been posted in this thread as "rational." This thread is mostly filled with people posting the typical Internet hate machine bullshit, which is fueled by a need to shame those that you view as inferior for whatever reason. My response to most of them... who gives a fuck? If you think you can define someone solely through a single parameter, then I pity you. I'd much rather be around a friendly fat person than a skinny person that's a dick. Ultimately, I'm not saying that anyone should just find overweight people to be attractive, but the behavior in this thread is fucking appalling.

Since I'm a nice guy, I'll help you lot out...

I have no problems at all with a woman with curves. There is a fine line though for me between curves and "unattractive" in my head. As other posters have said, as soon as it starts to form rolls, i have a problem.

She has a pretty face and in that picture it wouldn't be a big deal if I saw her at the beach. Once that bikini comes off and that fat starts rolling, that would just be gross.

Honestly I am not all that attracted to supermodels anyway. Too tall for my taste. But porking them up certainly doesn't make them more attractive.

But there is a lot of room between "eats tissues for dinner" and "estimating your weight because you are afraid to step on the scale".

And unfit. I bet running a mile at a reasonable pace would wind the shit out of her.

When the zombie apocalypse happens and we need chubby chicks to keep the human race going I'll rescind these statements but until then I won't partake in this pretending that being sloppy and not giving a shit is ok.

please. such ignorance.

My house in next to mile EIGHT of the local marathon route. I saw HUNDREDS of people her size go jogging by while running what I will presume was the half marathon and not the full

just because you carry some extra flub around doesn't actually make you not physically fit. she could be in great aerobic shape and just be consuming a diet she enjoys

so may ignorant assumptions in here

that aisde, I think shes cute. but....Ive seen girls her size wear it better in the stomach. Shes a bit loose there

read that, OP's pic the chick falls into the category discussed in the article. One that contains research from doctors. She might even be healthier, well if you believe what the Journal of the American Medical Association says. But, I'm sure ATOTers know far better than actual doctors and such.

Are you in denial? Did you read the whole piece? The research is dealing with only death rates but not one's likely hood to contract known diseases associated with being large. In other words, people can live a long life being fat because of modern day drugs but you'll just have to make due with whatever known disease you got from being big.

Katz pointed out that the study looked only at death rates -- not quality of life. And this is an area, he said, that may be affected by being overweight or slightly obese.

"We have recent evidence -- from the Lancet's 'Global Burden of Disease' study -- that we are living longer, but sicker," he said. "It may be that overweight does, indeed, contribute to type 2 diabetes and heart disease, but not to premature death.

eh.. i would have to get close first. she doesnt care about what she eats, so theres a chance she doesnt care what her vagina smells like. theres extra skin there for bacteria to grow :)

Personally, I love the chub. If I wanted to pork a skeleton, I'd dig through a science room closet.

Also
Two years ago, federal researchers found that overweight people had the lowest mortality rate of any weight group. Investigating further, they were able to link causes of death to specific weights. Obese people had more deaths from heart disease, they reported last week. And thin people? They had more deaths from everything but cancer and heart disease.

But there were 100,000 fewer deaths among the overweight than would have been expected if those people had been of normal weight. This is what might politely be called the chubby category, with body mass indexes (a measure of weight for height) of 25 to 30. A woman, for instance, who is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs between 146 and 175 pounds.

man, that is one butthurt landwhale.

she wants to be fat and be treated like she's skinny; basically - like all fat people - she wants to have her cake and eat it too. How about a salad instead, you fat bastard?

What's the difference between how you treat skinny people and fat people?

She is definitely overweight, borderline obese. The average american is overweight... that does not magically turn people that are in shape into supermodels... it also does not magically make fat people less fat just because there are more of them...

I don't bang fat chicks but that's about the only difference for me, but since ms. cakeface managed to fill a couple of hundred posts with whining I guess she feels treated differently. (maybe she should have spent that time at the gym instead).

edit: turns out it's several fatties, perhaps they could all join a gym together.

You shouldn't be so picky until you've actually gotten laid a few times...

Spoken like someone who doesn't even understand the problem. This woman is a model. Someone being held up as a standard. She might not be morbidly obese, but making fatties into models lowers the bar on acceptable weight. We should not be encouraging fatties to continue that trend. They need to be shamed into fixing their problem.

Why should someone have to "fix" something as complex as their body, when people won't fix something as simple as their mind?

Because if this country full of self-absorbed lardasses is going to force me to pay for their healthcare, then I'm going to make fun them until they cry themselves thin.

Actually I think the body is decidedly simpler to fix than the mind.

And how to lose weight is decidedly simple. Eat less and exercise more.

Na, I've seen enough disproportionate fat distribution to know that it's super common. This model's actually not that off. Just use Mr. Google to find the extreme cases.

Not every large person is unhealthy just like every thin person is healthy.

You also going to shame all the skinny people who never exercise?
