That picture is not fat, it's normal. The problem is magazines and stuff have painted a false picture of what healthy size for a woman is. Most of those are also photoshopped. Being able to wrap your hands around a waist is NOT a healthy size.

The picture really is at the heavy end of the range of what's acceptable but she has a cute face so I wouldn't be ashamed if my friends caught me with her. Plus it gets cold here in the winter so... :$

she's fat, and fat people have no excuse for being fat. Anyways, why would you want to be fat, it makes no sense.

Cool story bro moment:

my 84 year old grandmother has always been big, then in the past 15-20 years she put on quite a bit, that made her fat. Well last year, at 83, she decided fuck it, I'm losing all this extra weight, so far, without any crazy diet, just watching what she eats and not eating crap, she has lost 65lbs. So if my 84 year old grandmother can lose 60lbs in a year I think anybody who is fat is just lazy and has no excuse.

Stop trying to make fat acceptable, it's not. There's no reason to eat fast food and TV dinners all the time, I work 60 hour weeks on rotating shifts and I still manage to make time to make proper balanced meals.

You do realize that the normal american is fat. The is no contradiction in saying that the picture is normal AND fat.

She is obese. While it might be what is normal in current day society, it is in no way healthy. SHe is without a doubt at high risk for heart disease, high cholesterol, and diabetes. She probably doesn't have it now but give her a few years and she'll have some disease associated with her weight.

not severely out of shape, this is an exageration. She's overweight and that's it.
And unfit. I bet running a mile at a reasonable pace would wind the shit out of her.

When the zombie apocalypse happens and we need chubby chicks to keep the human race going I'll rescind these statements but until then I won't partake in this pretending that being sloppy and not giving a shit is ok.

read that, OP's pic the chick falls into the category discussed in the article. One that contains research from doctors. She might even be healthier, well if you believe what the Journal of the American Medical Association says. But, I'm sure ATOTers know far better than actual doctors and such.

But the researchers also found a slight dip in death risk -- about 6 percent -- in those whose BMIs were between 25 and 30. In other words, people who would be classified as overweight appear to have a lower risk of death from any cause.

From any cause? lol, only because fatties are disproportionately represented in front of televisions and computers, away from danger.

I don't think a woman who cant run a mile is going to keep the human race going during the zombie apocalypse.

Nah. When chased by zombies, you WANT a fattie covering your back.

Sorry but my bf is not in the least bit fat and has ideal waist-hip proportions. But hey enjoy your fatty

Or put another way I do have the best of both worlds. A skinny boy with appropriate curves. Why do you think I said what I did? :p

I think lady in OP's pic looks OK, but definitely not my ideal.

EDIT: She looks fine here on the left:

I would be shocked if she's really 170 lbs. I believe your estimate is far more realistic. Maybe 185. Her true BMI is absolutely not in the normal range.

170 is completely suspicious as it is the highest round number that makes her not overweight.

Lets put it this way if she was really only 170 there would be no need for her to "estimate" her weight as she could say: "See I look like this and I am still not overweight, stop expecting models to look like pencils". Whereas in all actuality if her real weight was revealed it would be obvious she was overweight and she would find it harder to berate the skinny models.

The problem is that she's a "10", if she lost some lbs she'll still be a "10" but also would look even better :p

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I know a few girls that might be in her range of body type and some who are eveb fatter who run half marathons

I more or less hate running and running more than say a mile at an 8 min pace kills me and I look like an athelete. And i play tons of basketball. Some fattish people can keep up a 10 Min mile race for like 5-10 miles

Ya, she's hot, but there's no question she would look better if she lost some weight.

If you don't rate women on a normal distribution where every point represents at least one full standard deviation from the norm at 5, you're doing it wrong.

Sorry for the double post, but some posters' standards for bodily beauty borderline on comic book standards, disguised as rational, pseudoscientific reasoning. I realize most of the American population is categorically "overweight", but the average people who aren't dont exactly look like supermodels.
