An album of screenshots from the PS4 version was leaked yesterday. Lots of people freaking out because they think the graphics are terrible.
Have to agree. It just looks flat. Also too clean

Fallout is more about this big world with a ton to explore. Witcher 3 will have better graphics (by farrrrrr), better story, better voice acting, better animations. Fallout 4 will have a lot more to explore but a crappy story with terrible voice acting and a dated engine, like always.
Witcher 3's combat was a big improvement over W2, but it was still quite repetitive. I think FO4 will be better combatwise, at least for me, because FPS gunplay is fun. I find VATS to be annoying and never really used it in 3/NV. I hope they have improved the engine though, because it's always been kind of floaty and crappy for an FPS.
It will be a great game though if you enjoy it for what it is. I'm looking forward to it. It's a shame it is this dated in the visuals department though. Witcher 3 looks pretty decent even on console, there is no excuse for FO4 being exclusive to the next gen consoles to look like it's still on the 360/PS3.
The game will probably still win GOTY and RPG of the year, even though it should go to Witcher 3. It's just a far more popular series.
I have to assume that those pictures were taken by 'very lucky' people who got to play it early on their PS4 or XBOne? I know the physical copies are probably ready by now, but I doubt that pictures of the early moments of the game were taken and 'leaked' voluntarily by reviewers who probably got their copy now for their review that will most likely come out this week (so I guess it's just some random Joes who got it early?).
Anyway, not matter how I cut it... I'm jealous.
Fallout is clearly more popular than Witcher, but Witcher 3 sold very well I think. It was very hyped and lived up to it. Personally I think it will take a huge effort to dethrone it from Game of the Year. I'm very much looking forward to Fallout 4 but I don't really expect it to be anything fresh or new. Witcher 3 raised the bar with production quality and the quality of the side quests.
Some of those console shots are late PS2 era
Bethesda, while I enjoy their games, is one of those developers that seem to get a large pass on flaws in their games come review time.
I'm really surprised at the lack of pre-order special sales.
