If you get bitten by the "crafting bug" you might come back to show the stuff you've built ;) But I think you'll mostly disappear until you're done with the game or encounter a bug and come back to ask :p

Finally found all the Bobble heads. Those guys are hard to find, even if I did look up general areas on the last 5 that I was missing.

Anybody else notice the settlement at Boston airport does not allow you to plant food or use guard towers. Weird... maybe it changes if you go further along the BOS missions as it is right next tot he BOS installation. How are your settlers you send their supposed to survive without food?

It's there only if you select BOS as your final choice to attack the Institute, it's where you build the teleporter.

Concerning the airport...

The Prywden, Airport, and Airport Ruins show up on my map as settle-able. It looks like I can send settlers to the Airport but I haven't tried yet. Haven't had any hostiles go near my turrets at the Airport settlement yet.

Thats pretty much where I am at now... finished the game, collected all of the mags, bobbleheads. I have like 1 main save before the main choice between factions as still cannot really decide which I really want to go with

airport never allows crops. But its not a great outpost anyway. Not unless you have a mod that expands the area. Maybe includes that 2nd floor.

----- Thanks to the Legendary Mod plugin from Nexus Mods, I finally got most of my custom armor sets complete. Still making final touches and I wanted to check with you guys to see if I missed anything or am doing it wrong.

Assassins Armor set
Metal, because humans tends to use guns.
Everything with the Assassins legendary mod, and heaviest protection customization along with mostly Strengthening attachments since crippled limbs seem to be a problem for me when caught in a crossfire.
I use this for all human encounters, even Children of Atom. Though I am thinking about switchint to Leaded specifically because of them.

Hunters Armor set
Metal because I think their bites are reduced by metal, but I'm not sure.
Hunters legendary mod on everything. Heaviest protection mods.

Bug Stomper set
Also metal until someone can show me a better solution.
Right now its all bug stomper mods but I'm thinking of mixing in poison protection too. And leaded customization cuz I frequently encounter bugs in rad areas.

Ghoul Slayers set
Metal with all ghoul slayer mods. Also as much lead as possible. I've died from radiation more often than bites and slashes. Especially when a Glowing One is lurking around.

Troubleshooters set
Leather because bots tend to use lasers, as well as the turrets.
Troubleshooter legendary mods along with maximum protection. Customization is generally limb protection cuz it doesnt seem like they have radiation weapons.

Mutant Slayer set
Combat armor because they use a variety of weapons. Mutant slayer mod on everything. Again prefer maximum base protection and limb protection as they tend to be heavy hitters.

Thief set
Right now mostly lockpicking mods but I think I should mix it up with something else. Lightweight leather and shadowed too.

Sprinters set
Right now its all lightweight leather with just sprint mods. Fun but not terribly practical in combat.

Ninja set
Took forever but I finally got a stealthboy legendary mod. The rest I dont know. Maybe the arms should be steadied for sniper rifles. Obviously everything is shadowed and/or lightweight.

VATS set
Mix of AP boosting and VATS reduction mods. Also lightweight leather as that sometimes gives a few bonus AP. Works nicely with a VATS reduced 50 cal. rifle. Also with heavy melee weapons.

Still thinking of what to make for a power armor set. I guess explosion reduction is the best cuz you can't dodge grenades or missiles very well in a suit. Also explosives tend to tear up armor pieces quickly which gets annoying when away from a repair place.

As time goes on I think everything except the ninja & thieving gear will be replaced with sturdy combat pieces, eventually.

OH, I need to do the same thing with weapons as well. A full set for each enemy type.
1 melee, 1 high powered rifle, and one close range heavy hitter. Will probably vary depending on the enemy type.

Humans I would use shotgun. Mutants, combat rifle or assault rifle. Ghouls, likely a flame thrower, maybe the Thompson.
Bugs, almost assuredly a flamethrower. Bots? Probably combat rifle. Maybe a powerful weapon modified to shoot .38 really fast. Good way to burn thru excess ammo.

Oh, and some generic heavy weapons like a minigun with explosive bullets, a SMG with knockdown or stagger, flamer with bleeding or poisoning, plasma rifle with cryo, double shot missile launcher, stuff like that.

Explosive Minigun is insanely OP'd :awe: But it's soooooooo much fun to use, especially vs groups of things :D

Not to mention there's nothing more badass than a T-51b wearer ripping everything to pieces with a minigun.

On a side note, I think it's really cool how they implemented the PA upgrades to match old nomenclature :) T-51b and X-01 Mk.II (called Advanced Power Armor Mk. II in F2) were the iconic PAs from F1/F2. I think it's really neat how the "b" and "Mk. II" were integrated into Fallout 4 - a creative way to not breaking cannon (much :p ) and explain why those were called like that :)

Need a druggie set, get hooked on everything under the sun and use the weapon that has bonuses based on addiction.

Ugh, haven't found one yet. Only have one that adds fire damage and it sucks. Playing on survival or whatever the highest difficulty is, it takes like 200 rounds to kill even lower level things. Running into a matching level thing takes well over 500 bullets.

:D My wife would totally wear a shirt with that image.

I wish the feds would shoot him. I received one of those quests, traveled there, then got THREE more by radio! It's totally impossible to speak to Preston four times without getting at least one more quest, but if you don't speak with him then eventually the quest fails and everyone in that settlement continually whines about how they can't live with those raiders/supermutants even though you've already killed them - usually for the third or fourth time - AND told the settlement leader.

Taking their time with official patch, probably longest I had to wait for any RPG game.

I finally finished the game but disappointed(never got the ending I wanted or option for), never got the chance to side with minuteman, guess just as well since all they want is settlement help all the time even as their general.

Preston garvey was pissed at me for my decision for the ending(without spoilers) but hey thanks Preston for no support or options from the minuteman even as their general to side with them for the ending like I don't exist(yes I read the ending options online but they never happened for me).

Bugs too many to name, you can still play the game after main story has finished however.

I do feel only the institute should be able to spawn inside camps on attacks, mutants, gunners etc should have to fight their way through fences, defences etc which they do sometimes but not always.

Probably take a break from F4 for now and move on to my others games.

+1 on enemies spawning inside of a settlement = really dumb. What is the point of putting up all the perimeter defenses if they can just spawn inside of them. Just had my second "inside the camp spawn battle" yesterday - both times in the same settlement. Mutants spawn in from nowhere and there are 7-8 of them with 3-4 "dogs" - all upper leveled and several with Miniguns. After the first time this happened I put several heavy machine gun turrets and a heavy laser facing to the inside of the settlement. That really helped as I only lost about 1/2 the crops and water pumps, 2 turrets needed fixing , one trade store needed to be repaired, and only 3 settlers this time - last attack I lost all crops, all water, all stores, 4-5 settlers, and 1/2 of the defenses.

The other thing that is irritating is the fact that the "help X settlement it is under attack" messages all come at once or in packs- so after you get done battling/helping one settlement you don't have time to collect the enemy spoils before you have to fast travel to the other settlement that is getting attacked. By the time you come back to the first battle everything is gone. Yet- that stupid dead feral ghoul is still lying there dead ever since you started the settlement.
